Comfort Keepers has been our lifeline with the ever increasing needs of our Dad at home. Every time we have needed something, they have been able to adapt and address our needs immediately. I would definitely recommend their services!

As with every facility we have an obligation to support the client to the best of our ability. However unless there is a public trustee and boundries put in place, we aren't able to micro manage their spending. We highly encourage the use of gift cards it limits where they spend their money but gives them a vast variety of choices when they go to the establishments that utilize these option We can give suggestions but we don't have the authority to force them to make good choices. Sometimes assistance from the family helping them understand the importance of healthy living goes along way. If we all work as a team to be supportive with the clients, the daily challenges these clients face become that much easier for them to choose healthy active living. I've worked here for 15 years and see the highs and the lows of the clients emotions and challenges of making good choices on a regular bases. Its frusterating to watch them being challenged by the same obstacles over and over.... but support and praise is the best thing we can give them when they make appropriate ĺifestyle choices. Addiction is a hard cycle to break. We respect their human rights as well as encourage positive change. Our jobs here are very challenging as no two clients brain injuries are the same. This is a great facility to work at and its small enough that the clients benifit from positive one on one interaction.

Chartwell is now my home. And I am very proud to call it home. I am always busy with doing all the exciting activities that they have here. I love the dances and all the shopping trips and scenic drives that we go to. The staff are excellent here.
