My Mother lived at Mayfair Terrace (formerly Amica) for almost 10 years. She recently moved out due to her advancing years and increased needs at age 91, to a full-care facility. During her time at Mayfair Terrace the staff and Facility Director (Pierce, and Sarah), were always engaged and interested in her. The staff included her in so many great ways to keep her interested, active and motivated as she aged and slowed down. They were always respectful of her and very collaborative with family. I would strongly recommend Sarah and her team at Mayfair Terrace.

Kim and the team at Home Instead are some of the most compassionate and caring people you'll ever meet. They really go above and beyond to provide care, comfort and dignity to seniors and their families. You're in excellent hands here :)

Michelle and her team have been an amazing resource for my clients and myself! She has been able to help and assist seniors in so many ways. Every time there is a senior is in need of a bit of extra help around the house, garden, etc... Michelle is my go to. As she is quick to respond and has been very helpful. Clients love her personality, the services, and are grateful for the referral.

Stellar service from Big Hearts Homecare. They take great care of my loved one at home, cook meals for him, drive him to appointments, clean the house and keep him good company. The careaid even takes him on walks in the neighbourhood. I think I've found a gem that I plan to use well in the months to come!

The English Manor was our worst nightmare. We moved our Mom into The English Manor based on all the facilities and care that Sue and Charlie claim to provide. Our mom has dementia and had been living independently with care-givers in attendance for 12 hours of the day. As she was beginning to require overnight care we thought The English Manor could provide this. Sue and Charlie told us that we would no longer require our own daily care-givers as they were particular about who they would work with. Our Mom told us many things that upset her about the English Manor and we all feel very ashamed that we blamed it on the dementia and didn't listen. This finally changed when we received a phone call at 6 am from The English Manor saying our mom had a cut on her head and needed some stitches. Somehow she had fallen and they'd found her on the floor. When we took her to emergency we were questioned extensively about how this had happened as it was more than a small cut and she should have been attended by an ambulance. They would not let us return our mom to the same place and called in a senior specialist to help find us a new care home. The English Manor looks very nice and is kept very clean. There are no programs except for a TV. The meals provided were healthy and tasty but the schedule was rigid. Lights go out and there is nothing from after dinner until breakfast.

As someone who is very passionate about ensuring families affected by dementia receive good quality support, I would like to share that I have been very impressed with the service that Safe Care Home Support has been providing to their clients affected by dementia. In a few circumstances, I have witnessed my clients expressing their appreciation towards Safe Care for their interest and ability to be flexible and accommodating. The client and the family's needs were met even in situations where it appeared to be a challenge. This is a great Skilled Nursing Facility. One of the best​. They even have have an, "Alzheimer's" wing. The staff are very friendly and caring. They have activities for their patience and more. They are located in Blaine Washington. Easy to find on the internet and yellow pages.

Good place clean and quiet

Dufferin Care Center is excellent facility for different level needs of Seniors . The environment is very good design to promote Seniors' mobility , and room for families visiting , gardens . The Center is clean , tidy , light music around , flowers , fish tank and bird . I'm a volunteer and feel very happy to working with the Activity staff Shabana on Sunday . She is working very respectful to Seniors , carefully doing nails care , massaging hands with moisturizer . Encourage Seniors to join the stimulation exercises . Good work !

Deleting reviews will not get you anywhere. Dealing with the problems with your disrespectful staff towards residences will.

I Hire this company to provide home care services , we are very happy with the services and care that they are providing to my father and my father is very happy with the service

This place is not as they make it seem to be on the Google page or online anywhere. In fact it's quite the opposite actually. And the staff Nurse's are not all as respectfully as they claim to be on the website. The last time I was visiting my father there was a rude nure who Came into his room and said to him that he had to come and eat right now because if he didn't do so no one would feed him at all for the rest of the night leveling him hungry if he chose to continue Visiting with me. Witch I upset my dad varry much myself as well but she didn't seem to care

My neighbor is using this service, which is terrible. Don’t spend any time, does not do the specific work, 10 min and they are gone or sit on a chair texting. This is taking advantage of seniors. Shame on you

Both parents are presently residing here and our family can't say enough about the wonderful staff and care given to our parents. Top notch in the variety and quality of meals and snacks too! The lovely decor and bright spacious lounge areas are a pleasure to visit in, plus the outdoor patios are an added bonus during the warmer weather. What consolation to know our parents are well taken care of here.

If you are going to use this company, be aware that it is disorganized. They make an appointment and then change the time repeatedly (for example, an appointment would be for 9:00am, then they'd call that morning to say 11:00am, and then call again to say 1:00pm. Someone would finally show up later in the afternoon). Sometimes I left a message to cancel an appointment on a particular day, and yet they kept phoning to book an appointment that day. There is a wide range in their employees - some are great, some do as little as possible and try to leave early. While you may book them for a full hour, they often leave after 40-45 minutes, saying they can't do anymore because they have to drive to the next client's house. This happens whether the job is done or not. One staff person said I looked fine (I have fibrogmyalgia and one cannot see my pain or dizziness from the outside of my body) and that I could finish the job! The company is low-priced, and again, some of their people are good though some are not. If you go with CBI, you have to be patient and not too particular!
