Friendly caring staff!

This is a very nice place to live. The activities are a lot of fun and a great way to pass the time. The food is also delicious! The service is excellent here. Just wonderful!

Clean, friendly staff.

My in-laws have been living in the retirement residence for 3 years now and they LOVE it!! It's a wonderful, clean and organized place where the elderly have activities and socialize together. Tracy and the staff are AMAZING!!! They have done so much for everyone there . I hope all family members who have any of their elderly parents there, will appreciate all that they do for them!! Thanks so much for all you do! It's an awesome , safe place for them to stay. We highly recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a quiet, country setting, close to the Palmerston Hospital.

Great staff and very clean facility. Lots of planned activities for the residents. A good place for senior living.

My children got me a large gift certificate for services....POOR Customer service! Whenever I call to get something done I get put to voice mail and no return call. Would never refer them to anyone. When I have had work done after several attempts to book the workers were polite, professional but other office staff are incompetent.

The subject matter is quite difficult to talk about. The surroundings and the staff from are very understanding and quite caring with a great deal of empathy. Some of the most caring people you'll ever come across.

Very misleading website. Leaves family thinking their loved ones will be cared for in their homes when it is a gutted program. Very little really available and a lot of recommendations cost money that is not covered under OHIP. Only for those who can afford it. Staff rushed but nice but their hands are tied. A major failure by our health care system. Website should be dramatically changed to outline exactly what is offered and under exactly what circumstances, and that there will be many recommendations involving costs you may not be able to afford. That way if necessary family members know they have to step in for the safety and health of their loved ones. Right now it is dangerous to leave this website as it is as families may think their loved one is ok when they really are not!

I was a patient for months after my surgery, I received care from dozens of nurses and for the most part they were all excellent. If you are a patient here, you are in good hands

My mother was here from May 2015 till Feb.4 2018 . The employees here are 2nd to none .They treated my mother as if she were their own.Just can't say enough good things about the Maples Tavistock .

My father had his head smashed by falling backwards while in a transporting wheel chair because he was left unattended in it. He was put into bed with some ice and no one called to let us know. There was no follow up, no doctor or examination. I had to demand that he got examined and that took so many times of getting upset to get done. After one month from when he arrived he was a zombie by being over drugged. No one informed us that his drugs were going to be changed. I was lied to when asked if they were. When I requested to see his charts their response was “sorry they have been misplaced.” When I called the pharmacy they told me they were told that I gave permission for the drugs. After informing that it was a lie they put an alert on any changes to his medication not to happen without calling me directly. He was a different man within days and was no longer bed ridden or falling. He was there to be helped and cared for from a stroke not drug him. After getting him out of there he has recovered and can look after himself again. I know no place is perfect but out of three places he was in this was the worst.
