Martial Arts

I've been a member of the gym for 1.5 years. I find the atmosphere of Genesis is unique. It is very kid-friendly and roughly half of the kickboxing class is comprised of women. The classes are centred around solid instruction. Learning proper techniques is the goal for every session. If you are new to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or Muay Thai kickboxing, you are more than welcome to give it a try. Ask about the one-week trial. If you are more experienced, you'll find the instructors are well-equipped to provide high quality instruction. Whatever your skill-level, I'm confident you'll enjoy the atmosphere as much as the class itself.

The energy of the class was very uplifting and all staff was very welcoming. Definitley a place i'd like to stay at and to be able to do something i like for a very long time.

In my 2 years of learning at True Martial Arts, I feel that the way of teaching has really impacted my life in a positive way.

We are still as enthralled with Miller's Martial Arts as we were almost five years ago when our kids started martial arts through one of Professor Korbett's PTSA fundraiser afterschool courses. The martial arts experience at Miller's is not just a great physical activity for our kids, but the kids also receive exemplary guidance regarding personal ethics and leadership during each class. We are so happy we landed at Miller's Martial Arts!

I havent been there but I am sure it is a great place I always wanted to learn martial arts like wung chung and Ip man trained Bruce Lee and they knew martial arts

The character building skills incorporated during training is phenomenal. I am now 55 years old and still benefit from the skills I acquired 16 years ago. I have continued to develop myself in a positive manner and avoid anything that would reduce my physical health or mental growth because of the training I received. I am positive that anyone, child or adult, will benefit from training at Aurora Martial Arts.

Excellent school! Love their attention to kids. Great balance between self-defense and life skills, such as respect and self-discipline. Would give 6 stars if I could!

Have known the owner since before he started on his own. He has really invested in my kids to the point of training the oldest two to helping as instructors and working on number three. Finally, started Now we parents are doing Krav Maga and Kickboxing and loving it.

Heart rate up, getting my sweat on, my muscles worked, thinking of people I'd love to punch in the face as I get my upper cuts and hooks on the bag, it can't get better than this! All the teachers are good and I love Saturdays because that's where I feel I really get my sweat on!

Such a great place to be a part of!!! I take kickboxing and my boys are in the martial arts program. The kickboxing instructors are the best always challenging you to do/be your best. Great workout every single time. The martial arts program for the kids sets them up to do the best they can overall in life. OMA is very family oriented and they make you feel like you are family. They always give back to the community when possible and I think that's a great thing.

My kids have been going to Vision Martial Arts for the last two years and they have thoroughly enjoyed their experience so far. What I like about the program how life skills such as manners, courtesy, organization , time management etc. , are treated as foundation to the martial arts that the kids learn. Special mention to Master LeMat at the Vision Martial Arts center @ the Silver Creek center, who works extremely hard to keep it fun and energetic for the kids.

Our daughter has been at West Coast Sunnyvale since she was 4 years old and has earned her black belt and is now going for her 2nd degree. The teachers are excellent, very caring and the discipline and focus the program teaches the kids has helped her in all areas of life. Highly recommended.

Master Duer is a TRUE Master. His staff/family are INCREDIBLE & genuinely care!! The studio has a family atmosphere & CLEAN bathroom facilities.
