Mold Removal

The Team did a great job. We had trouble deciding what company to go with when we found out about the asbestos problem in our new building. We don't live in Victoria, but heard about Western Environmental Solutions from a friend. They took care of everything start to finish without us having to worry and or babysit the project. Exactly how I like things to be Done! I'd recommend and I'll use them again if I have any construction needs.

I've contracted work from Belfor and am consistently impressed by their professionalism and experience in the business as project managers. They didn't become a leader in the industry by mistake.. this team knows their stuff.

We were very unfortunate to have a house fire at our house, and at the time (very emotionally traumatised by what had happened) we were very impressed that Service Master was there the next day willing to get engaged and put our house back together. There were other companies that wanted to help too - but our insurance company went with Service Master. The staff were great and very friendly and did a thorough job on putting our house back to livable conditions, but upon our final walk through (2 months later) Service Master asked us to make sure everything was up to par. We discovered that certain things had been over looked and upon bringing this to the attention of the manager they were put right, but when returning to the house AFTER we had signed off on their work discovered more than several things were wrong. (1) Over 6 different items of our household were missing from before the fire. (Several of them quite costly) (2) Our newly laid Linoleum flooring in our kitchen was dented and scored from appliances being brought in. (3) Our vent hood in our kitchen was not installed properly and constantly leaked, leaving water damage to our newly installed cabinets. It also had a metal score mark through it, which upon bringing this to Service Master's attention - passed it off that it must have been done through shipping, and not their technicians. (4) The pipes underneath my kitchen sink were not properly secured and sealed, causing leakage and again damage to the newly installed cabinets. All I can say is that WE as a family were very disappointed with Service Master in the fact that they just wanted to line their own pockets and get the job done as soon as possible and steal certain items that were desirable to them along the way ! It's very traumatic to go through any life altering event and the last thing you thing you think of when you are given a piece of paper to sign off on is to check every single box, bag, envelope and piece of your house that has come back in fragments) You only notice what is missing when you go to look for it and it's no where to be found. You can understand a item or two, but when it start's to get into multiple items that's when red lights start to go off in your head that things are not what they seem. Please just take my heed and be cautious of this company - you might get less that what you signed up for !!!

My experience with Smartway Restoration was fantastic. Sara was a delight to work with. She was efficient and professional. The timeliness to attend to the situation was fast and there communications to all parties involved was consistent and great. I would highly recommend using this company.

Steve was the tech. Prompt, police, effective, efficient and all round wonderful job. Just like new. A rust spot, a pet spot or two, a couple of misc., things, all gone. I cannot say enough good things about him or this Company. The best around, I believe.

The review of this restoration company is to help other people make the right decision . Our experience with Belfor start out very well in 2011, when it come to there subcontractors such as roofing company's they use ; this where the first problem start. The roofing company had not followed the requests of Belfor and use; how ever belfor was not on top of the contract to implement these request as well and Belfor ended up having to come back and review the missed request. With not even a year gone by our roof was leaking and our claim reopened Belfor was back to inspect the new damage in side and call back the roofing company to find and fix the leak. Because the the weather conditions the roofing company had to put a tarp on the roof until the weather turn better. Not once but 3 separate times before they found and repaired the leak. Since then we have not had any problems with leaks but the problem with stains on the ceiling and carpet have yet to be resolved. So with all this said it is always wise to confirm with your Insurance company and do a back ground check for a Property Restoration Company.

Peter was very helpful, I had an emergency with a client who had a basement leak, he was at the site within 15 minutes of talking to him on a Sunday morning. They also did a great job at our home repairing damage from a broken plumbing pipe last year.

I normally wait until a job is completely done before writing a review, but the Belfor team has been so professional and have done such a wonderful job renovating my basement that I have to say thank you and commend them for their excellent work. Every person on this team was personable and skilled at their trade. The manager, Shawn, is very busy and, nevertheless, always responsive and helpful. I am so grateful for the service they provided me and happily recommend them.

shortly after buying our house, we discovered it was full of mold. it was extremely stressful trying to deal wit this especially since i have an auto immune disease made worse by mold. we were so pleased with the professionalism, conscientiousness and care that len and marshal provided during the mold remediation. they treated our house with respect and really accommodated my health issues. i highly recommend them!
