Optometrist

I am currently in BC from NYC. I had to get my eyes checked for a potential enhancement procedure following my laser eye surgery in 2007. I was referred to Denny Birring and I had an appointment with him in less than 24 hours . Upon arrival, I was met with friendly staff which started my testing immediately without any delay. Once the preliminary tests completed, I had the pleasure of meeting Denny who I heard so much about but met for the first time. He examined my eyes thoroughly, and went through all the pros and cons of my potential procedure. In sum, this was my best optometrist experience ever! From setting up the appointment, to getting phenomenal professional service, to having all my records emailed to me before leaving the store was AMAZING! Thank you Denny and the team for such a great experience - something I am told everyone gets and not just those that come via referrals. I have no hesitation in recommending Denny and the Iris Grandview Team!

Recently had appointments for our family with Dr. Sahota. I was very impressed with how he took time to listen and address all of the concerns and questions we had - didn’t feel rushed. He was excellent and engaging with our younger girls and made them feel comfortable right away. The office staff was warm and welcoming and were fantastic while I was trying to choose a new pair of sunglasses. Thank you!

Disregard the negative reviews about this store. I've become a true regular at this store because of their wide array of frames and competitive pricing. The staff are a charming and professional bunch. If I ask for their honest opinion they won't be scared to tell me that it doesn't suit my face; I admire honest people. Overall, I am deeply satisfied with all my purchases at this store and will continue to buy from them.

I have been going here for 6 years, always had a great experience and even referred multiple friends but after the total disrespect that David and the staff had for my mom was really disappointing.

Dr. Thom was very professional, personable, and actually listened to my concerns. Getting a comprehensive exam is entirely worth the cost, and they will take the time to explain what they are looking for and what they have found. I also updated my prescription at the time of the exam, and have had no issues with the new lenses. The desk staff were also quite friendly and made the effort to also listen and chit chat while waiting. In short, if you want excellent service with reliable results, go here! (In regards to the other review, complaining about cost, the extra 5 % - 10 % is entirely worth it if you value your vision and want a competent doctor. I use my eyes everyday; why would I gamble with my vision?)
