Really good Thai food, love their coconut rice. The owners are super friendly and welcoming. I looked forward to this place coming back from Thailand.

There’s Naan other better than this! Ha ha , the rice is perfectly cooked, the garlic naan isn’t dense and chewy, it’s savoury and light, with a satisfying crisped edge to it. They have a large selection of Indian dishes to choose from on their menu, from the classics to lesser known varieties I haven’t heard of. Plus they have a descriptive wine menu as a bonus. We loved eating at the spice hut and wouldn’t hesitate to eat there again.

This is a Spanish Mexican infusion restaurant with incredible food, great tequila, and incredible service. I would say this is the best Spanish/Mexican food I have eaten on Vancouver island to date this must be the best restaurant in the area! I would definitely recommend and come back. When the chiefs come out of the kitchen to greet and speak with the customers and know you by name it really shows pride in their product and service. Very impressed, a very special shout out to Ann for your incredible service and food!

worst McDonald's ever!!!! drive thru is averaging about 19min per car . not kidding . im sitting in it atm.

Waited an hour for our food. Nachos and tacos. Three tables that came in after us which were the only people in the place all got there food and left before we got our meals. Only did we get our nachos we asked for first did they come to our table, made wrong. Took another 20 mins to get our bill after we asked. Very very disappointed in my first and last experience there.

The food is great and the decorations are pretty, but I think it's probably better to order take out than to eat in on busy nights. We learned our lesson of course and will probably consider that we order out or go later in the evening when the rush has ended in the future. We waited nearly an hour for our food, the waitress brought us papadums on the house for the wait which was appreciated, but ended up mixing up my order and forgot to bring me the food we wanted to take home. I don't think it's her fault because it was so busy and she was doing her best, and things get chaotic when it's busy, but the experience in general was kind of stressful for me. I feel that it would be a good idea to consider expanding their tables to include the tables by the fireplace at the back when it's super busy, they're apparently reservation only (if I recall correctly) but they sat completely empty for our entire visit to the restaurant. In all my past visits I believe I have only seen one table of two seated over there.

Good food, good for the price. Dessert was really good, definitely worth it. The wait time however was kind of sad - we waited approximately 15 minutes for our bill in an empty restaurant.

The eggplant with ground pork is a killer dish. One of my favourites from PRC and they put a less saucy but delicious spin to it. I forget the soup we had but it was also good. Price was a tad high but for that location you can't expect dirt cheap food.

We love this place in both locations of Nanaimo :) The food is always fresh and the restaurant is always clean, a top choice for a healthy meal :)
