Ski & Snowboard

A very small hill, really only 11 real runs. But two of the most challenging sections in the Laurentians, and I have been told that the ski-school director (Roc Newberry) is one of the best in Canada. I don' t know about that, but I am impressed by the variety available in such a small hill. excellent for beginners through experts.

March break is Canadian week. Canadian $ at par. Great food, super friendly staff, very accommodating. Prime Rib, Wayugu beef burgers, strip loin roasts, smoked salmon for breakfast, awesome omletes made in front of you, southern style and taco section in cafe area. Better bring stretchy pants! Very Generous food allowances if you get Take out. Awesome instructors. Variety of hills for all levels. There is a half pipe, only one around. Nice accommodations, hot tub pool is 98F with a section that is 101F, nice way to finish off a day after skiing. There is also zip line tours, a spa and horse back riding that you can do. This place can become a family tradition for you!Booked next years trip before we left!!!

I learn to ski at this place, for 4 years straight we would buy the season pass (for night) and get there every saturdays at 3PM. I love every slope here but the most fun thing are the glades, especially 39. It's a very good challenge that you don't get on most other ski stations near. The chairlift is slow but there's very few waiting, evey on weekends. I also love the new glade they did last year. Snow conditions are usually very icy, especially on steep trails like 46, 48 and 49 but it's not that much of a big deal. Trail 47 looks like a good challenge but it's rarely open. One thing that I don't like though is the very left part of the mountain (Trails 40,41,42,55) where there's a big flat to take in order to get to the closest lift. So try to avoid these trails if you don't want to do cross-country skiing. Other than that I love this mountain, it's probably my favourite in the area of Saint-Sauveur.

Small mountain great for starting kids as the resort is small so no long walking distances from chalet to mountain or between ski lifts.

For a beginner it's the best! After a few minutes the staff make you feel at ease, and after you get hooked, you know their names cause it just perfect for families. Merci de m'avoir donné le goût de toujours retourner.

Went to roc&ride for the first time after noticing it on the way home from a ride at some really cool trails in the area. I had a bad noise coming from the drivetrain that I couldn't pinpoint. Simon worked on my bike as if it was his own. He didn't stop until he found where the noise was coming from. He tried everything until he got it! He got the job done and for this I'm very thankful! I will be going back for sure!

This place was just an overpriced scam. For someone that skis regularly just avoid this place. Also the customer service is just terrible

We rented a couple of Sea-Doos last year. They were flexible with our arrival, quick, and knowledgeable. We will definitely rent again this year.

The service here is better than what you find at the big box stores but sometimes there isn't enough staff to go around. We have bought adult skis and rented a kit for a young child and they gave great advice. Location is very convenient and the prices are fair but don't expect any sales, they do stock more selection are some great non made in China brands. Be careful with the opening hours as they seem to change randomly even their own website is incorrect so call ahead.
