TL Coleman finished an unfinished hardwood floor that I found beneath carpet. This was several hearts ago and they did a good job on this. But then in August 2013 I had them apply new coat of finish to an already beautifully finished floor that was just starting to show some wear. The NEW finish they applied looked awful-cloudy, milky and suddenly it scratched extremely easily. Moreover, you could never seem to get it to look clean. Two months later, I sent several emails and phone calls to ask them to refinish and fix this problem. They were terrible at responding-I had to keep calling and sending emails for a month. Then when someone DID come and look at it, he agreed that it "hadn't bonded". He was scheduled to come to refinish it twice. The first time, he just didn't show. The second time they did half of the floor. THE JOB WAS A MESS. Mop marks and shoe prints in the finish, bizarre shiny areas and a closet that was left unfinished. We have sent several emails again and left messages for them to rectify this situation. We have heard nothing. I would NEVER recommend TL COLEMAN and in fact, have already warned several of my neighbors in my neighborhood to steer clear of this group.

The guy that went around me in a turning lane that was driving a red Chevrolet Tahoe, do you not realize you could have cause a huge crash. And not only that I had two young kids in the car plus an elderly lady. I’ve tried calling the number that was on the vehicle but it’s no longer in service and even have tried to look you up online and all numbers have been disconnected. But I’m sure somebody will see this. If you were in such a hurry you should have left a little earlier instead of driving like a dumbass.

My experience with the Floor trader is an ongoing nightmare. They knew I was having the house painted prior to "upgrading" to laminate floors, yet their installer, Steve Porter, ruined all of the freshly painted trim. They did not use a thick enough underlayer when they installed and now none of the door frames in the entire house reach the floor anymore. It looks awful and needs to be redone. They trimmed in the dishwasher, left gaps between the trim and the wall, did something to the closet doors so that they no longer shut, etc. The installer, Steve Porter, was rude and difficult to deal with and the response from Floor Trader's "customer service" was essentially, "Too bad." I'm going to have to take them to court. Run from this place, as fast as you can. I only gave one star because I had to.

I wish there was one in Hampton. It's a phenomenal place for flooring!

Thought you could DIY that? Nah. It’s not as simple as Youtube makes it out to be, despite what your cousin said. We decided to call in the pros to help us out with the carpet in our living room before our relatives could come over for the holidays and use it as a canvas for finger painting… like they did last year… So it’s a big job. We contacted Hill Flooring to get laminate installed where the carpet was on the first floor of our home. Amazingly enough, despite how busy they are, they managed to accommodate our schedule and fit us in ASAP. Jonathan and his guys are super punctual and professional. They’re steadfast perfectionists and we couldn’t be happier with the result. They were willing to accommodate us with repair of the transition from our existing laminate to the new laminate and it turned out great. The end result is that our den looks like a million bucks now and even moreso, we can breathe MUCH easier knowing that my family and friends can get drunk ad libitum without worrying about where they are about to puke (as long as they clean it up). I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone looking to get some flooring done in their home. If I ever have a future project, I'll definitely call Hill Flooring too.
