Furniture

Warning! This place has good furniture but terrible customer service. My husband and I bought a dining table, 4 chairs and a ceiling light from the downtown Victoria, BC store. After a few days, since we did not hear from the delivery people, we went back to the store. The two girls told us that they forgot to ask for our address!!! We also realized that there was a huge crack in the table (one wood in the lower frame was completely broken!!!). The girls said the price was lowered because of the broken wood. They finally accepted to give $100 discount for the broken part, but we still felt they had not been completely honest with us because they did not disclose that the table was broken at the time of purchase. We received the furniture but the colour of the ceiling light didn't really match our dining room decoration. We called them and asked if we could exchange it with a different ceiling light of the same or higher value. The person on the phone (one of the girls) responded in a cold and impolite way that they were not accepting any exchanges under any circumstances due to policy. The strict return/exchange policy was not disclosed at the time of purchase.

I recently purchased an Emslie 2 Crank Table with custom stools and chairs. I dealt with Darrel who went above and beyond to accommodate me while I tried desperately to sell my existing table/chairs. I love my new suite!

Garret Cord Werner, Architects & Interior Designers has been partnering with Soma Millwork & Design for two years. We were first interested in working with Soma for the dedicated service provided by Roger Phillips and David Rootman, but have continued the relationship because of the quality of work that they produce. From their shop drawings to their exquisite wood finishes, the attention to detail is second to none. We will continue to partner with Soma for many projects to come, as we (and our clients) have been so pleased with the results.

Good cheap mattress friendly staff. Love the show

Horrible customer service. They didn't disclose that their furniture has a P65 warning for containing formaldehyde nor did they think that selling cancer causing furniture was a reasonable cause for returning the item that reeked horribly of chemicals. Poorly painted and shabbily assembled, missing pieces that they continuously claim to be sending. For that price I really expected better quality, so disappointed with their products and especially their terrible service. The furniture has been sitting out for a week waiting for missing parts and still smells awfully, they refused an exchange and every time I demand a refund they simply deny cause. Shop anywhere else!

I love the. Stuff. Over there its. Really updated and they give me excelent delivery service. Keep it. Guys.

Quality office furniture for an amazing price. Very friendly staff and excellent customer service! I found exactly what I was looking for, for half the price I expected.

they won't ship my beanbag because they don't have any in stock and they are "currently making beanbags" whenever i call them. when i call the phone number and a man picks up and says "ello yogibo" and i don't know what to do. beanbags are very comfortable though :)

Averaged review between their employees and the quality of their products. Product rating? 10/10. Customer service? 0/10. My partner and I spent about an HR wandering around the store, and was never asked if we needed help. The store did not lack staff, but definitely lacked staff who wanted to help out. It's a bit disappointing that their warehouse takes weeks to ship anything out, so if you want anything big, expect 4-6 weeks for delivery.

Had a great experience buying my X-chair from impact office. Seems to be the only company in Canada that sells this chair!!
