This place is amazing, small privately owned clinic by Masha audiologist/owner and Amelia the administrator are a great team. Masha is a real sweetheart, kind, helpful, takes her time, and very qualified, a beautiful woman. Amelia made extra calls and paperwork on my behalf for funding. A few months ago I went to a big chain hearing clinic for testing, when I needed to follow up with calls and paper work they did neither and I could not even get them on the phone. So I took a chance and googled and now I love Toronto family hearing, they always answer the phone. I had a lot of concerns about getting hearing aids, still do but they are taking care of my needs. I believe because Masha owns the business she cares and goes over and above with great service. I am so glad I found this place. Not fun having hearing loss but if that is your reality too, then I encourage you to try Toronto family hearing. You will need a several appts at first and follow-ups, so you want to like where you chose. This place is the best. Thanks Masha.

I felt at ease taking my father to Hearing Aid Central. I found the staff to be very knowledgable, understanding and polite. It's like they knew what we were going through and had multiple solutions to my father's specific needs. If you're wondering about your hearing health, I would recommend getting your hearing tested at this clinic.

Dr Edmond is by far the best doctor I have ever visited in all my years! I am so thankful that I happened to find him at the time that I did. I had been suffering from excruciating pain in my right ear from impacted wax and had been in and out of various other doctor's offices over the preceding week, which offered little to no help or assistance besides the 5 minutes that they could spare to tell me the same thing over and over again. The other doctors simply prescribed me some oil drops to put in my ear, and even after an entire week of drops and multiple visits back, all the other doctors would say is "well go put some more drops in and come back". Nobody quite took the time to look into the issue properly, diagnose the problem, and explain it to me in such detail as Dr Edmond had. Meanwhile, my pain was so bad that I could barely chew, I couldn't hear at all from my right ear, I couldn't sleep or get through most of my day without pain medication and I felt like the whole right side of my head was being ripped to shreds from the inside out. I can't begin to explain how bad it was. The shooting pains that came every 3 or 4 seconds would make me wince and flinch. When I first called the Hearing Aid Source Jodi picked up and had gotten me into an emergency appointment on the same day after hearing about my situation. An hour after my call I was squeezed in for the day and was being consulted by Dr Edmond. Dr Edmond spent the next 4 AND A HALF HOURS with me!! He didn't quite. In fact, he wouldn't quite. Working with various tools and medicine to slowly and steadily chip away at the (probably years and years of) wax buildup. As he stated himself, he wanted to make sure that I went home happy and pain free that day. Other doctors probably would have just given up or made you come back another day after putting in more drops, but not Dr Edmond! Although his offices closed at 5pm that day, Dr Edmond stayed behind after everyone else had left. He had taken it upon himself to call his wife and tell her that he would be coming home late that day - which just goes to show you how passionate he is, how much he cares about his patients, and how seriously he takes his job. Dr Edmond did literally everything in this power to make sure that his patients are completely satisfied. Throughout the whole process, Dr Edmond made sure that I understood everything that was happening, what tools he was using, how it would feel, why this happens, and how to avoid it in the future. Oh and let me not forget to mention his GREAT sense of humour! His positive attitude and jokes helped to lighten the situation and take my mind off of the pain. 4 and a half hours later and I got my hearing back and was pain free! My hearing had been gone for so long that I felt like I couldn't even recognize my own voice. I can't even begin to thank Dr Edmond enough after that whole ordeal. I must also give my praise to Jodi! Jodi was super nice, caring and would come to check in on me from time to time, asking if I needed anything or if they could do anything to make me feel more comfortable. Thank you again Dr Edmond and Jodi!

Helpful staff and physicians. They can be busy and you may have to wait, but there are comfortable seats.

We had a lovely experience at HearingLife. The entire facility—reception area, Specialist Burns’s office, and the hearing test room—were clean and welcoming. Paulette at reception was pleasant and efficient. Specialist Burns was kind and professional, plus attentive, thorough, and very knowledgeable about hearing issues and instruments. Highly recommend this HearingLife.

I was very pleased last week when attending at the Hearing Life Clinic at Danforth Avenue and Main Streets, Toronto. My hearing needs was brought up to date and I was advised of the possibility of receiving assistance in the payment of hearing aids by applying to the City of Toronto which helps seniors like myself to benefit from the Ontario Health programs in the City of Toronto that would make it possible for me to pay in full the cost of my hearing aids.

Good operation. Got a free hearing test, and when they realised I have tinnitus but otherwise excellent hearing, they said straight up nothing could be done for the tinnitus and a hearing aid would be useless. I love honesty, and they have it in full.

If you are looking for hearing testing or hearing aids, this is the place to go. Start with professional and knowledgeable. Add that they will go out of their way to get you what you need with an honest evaluation of you hearing and without trying to sell you something you don't need. Did I mention these are really nice people? It doesn't get any better than this.
