The facility is very clean and staff are friendly. There are lots of activities and outings for some days as well.

Community Care Access Centre is not accessible at all. My doctor referred me to this service because I need nursing care post-operation. I was told that a nurse will come to my home everyday. I went home and hours after CCAC called to tell me to go to their clinic everyday by appointment because that is what's in my assessment in their file. I have to travel from Danforth Rd to McNicoll, everyday by bus because I can not drive right now and no one to drive me there. That is after 4 days of open surgery. Basically, the service is there, get it if you can, who cares we get funded anyway, we are doing a great job helping the community. I was quite relieved actually when I left the hospital and the doctor was quite insistent that I will avail of this service. I thought to myself, there goes my tax dollars working for me now. But only to be dismayed when I got the call. The home nursing services is only for patients age 65 and above.Could have saved your time had I been informed of that in the hospital and my doctor would have not recommended your services.

Very caring and compassionate nurses

I visited many retirement homes with my aging Mother before we found Moll Berczy Haus. She fell in love with the place right away. The staff are warm and friendly and really care about the residents. It's a small, cozy community of mostly German speaking residents. There's no place like this anywhere else in Toronto! Highly recommended!

Staff is changing a lot and staff is unhappy. Director bullies the elders. No real assistance for even the mildly cognitively impaired. Not recommended unless your loved one is truly independent.

This place will provide good care for your parents. However they suffer from the same problems as all senior living facilities, staffing. Quality of care is more dependent on which staff is on for any given day than it should be. The premium you pay would lead you to believe their staff to client ratio and standards will provide a better than average experience. Most days quality of care is as expected to better than expected. However on days when they are short staffed or junior staff and in, the quality of care suffers. It's for this reason that I believe Sunrise is average and not worth the premium you'll pay.

I am a co op student that goes to Chartwell constantia for my co-op placement and it is the best first co-op placement because the staff are nice and managments are amazing.

I have had a fantastic experience at CBI home health Scarborough. Quincy is my physiotherapis and chiropractor. Quincy listens to his clients needs and wants very well. He also does a fantastic job explaining everything in such detail that you need to know about the muscles, joints, and bones. I would strongly recommend his expertise! He is one of the best physiotherapist and chiropractor out there. Overall he is personable, patient and has a passion for what he does.
