My parents have been going to this place and the ladies have helped them out a lot. Then, mom had Refered me to go see a lady named Connie to help me out. She was very helpful to me. She was willing to do her best for me and gave me many options. She is very welcoming and patient. Thank you very much 😀

Though it is an older building, the care, programs, food and sense of community is excellent.

The place sucks , telling me that they cant employ me because i am not a citizen , that employing a P.R is a lot of paper work for them . This is pure discrimination

I have a relative in this long term care home, for the past 3 years now. I have always had positive experiences with all of the staff. They have been friendly, responsive and ready to help when asked to do so. The care they give has been top notch and I appreciate them, every day!

My mother is in Amica in Thornhill. Though the care is fairly decent and the people who work there are very nice (most of them), the meals are downright disgusting. The variety is slim. The food is often over-cooked, dry, bland, flavourless and downright unappealing. Even though the residents have complained, management is not doing anything about it. It's really sad that a company that is charging so much is not feeding their residents well. We are in the process of looking for another home for my mother and hopefully can get into somewhere better.
