Regarding my niece Kelly Culver negative statements about Rosslyn Home where MY Mother (Kelly’s Grandmother) lives, THEY ARE NOT TRUE. I will not get into her pettiness of the appearance of furniture and carpets, just the important issue here, MY MOTHER. Medical transportation has been provided by me. Taking her to and waiting when she has an medical appointment. Also, picking her up from hospitals when she goes by ambulance including the one time by another family member. The testing to see if she had a blood clot was done on the scheduled appointment date, again I was the provided transportation. Please note to ALL, her health is not being neglected and anytime my Mother has a medical issue, depression, crying or medical appointment, my house is informed immediately by a Rosslyn staff member day or night. She does have Alzheimer’s and is continually going through the advancing progressive stages both physically and mentally. I will not remove her from Rosslyn, her health is not being neglected and her personal needs are being met by staff as well as the necessary professional medical personnel. As for the complaints by my niece if they cared so much they would get off their butts and go see their grandmother more than once. I go every week and spend 5-6 hrs with her because I know it makes her happy. This is not the first time that Kelly has made poor judgement calls and shot off her mouth with out thinking. I have never had one seconds pause to think that MY mother is not being cared for in a proper and professional manor. The staff has always put my mothers need first and worked with her to make sure that she is getting the best care. So in summary if Kelly has any complaints she needs to just keep them to herself. This is my mother and Kelly's opinion has zero affect on how she is looked after. James and Minnie Jones

Horrible place my poor papa keeps getting beat up and they lie and cover it up by saying he fell, didn’t get him medical attention this time and had given 4 different versions of what happened plus they lied and said they had called my nana and told her whaat happened which they did not if I could put no star I would have! If your loved one needs to be put in a home I don’t suggest this one! They can’t do anything properly, they rarely ever answer the phone! No one deserves to endure this place! Should be shut down

These people are amazing. My mother was adamant! She wasn't ready for a home, and no home would suit her. She's as happy as a clam! Subsequently, so am I!

I worked there 4 years ago and was let go for speaking out in Facebook. This place when I was there was infested with bedbugs, cockroaches,and body lice. The kitchen staff denied second helping to they could bring food home. The cook would taste test the food with the same spoon she would serve with. No one would address the situation and I believe 2 people died due to neglect of care.

Just spoke with the receptionist who was incredibly rude who hung up on me THREE times before I could speak to someone about my mother since no one is showing up for homecare. Receptionist staff should be offering the callers help, not attitude. Hopefully this isn't indicative of all your receptionist, Niagara ParaMed.

PLEASE DO NOT PLACE YOUR LOVED ONE HERE! My mother was placed here without me viewing it and not meeting the owners as I moved out west. ( the hospital waited until I left the province) The previous owners would never return a phone call. I called Kathy 30 times over a 2 year period to get an update on my mother's income taxes which they took over without my consent, still no phone call back. I also would call to get an update on my mother's health and no response. All I got was the run around from the staff working in the home and by Kathy's assistant. My mother's physical health deteriorated very quickly when placed here. She stopped walking and her only activity became sleeping for hours on end. I asked that they would implement omega 3's into her regime and they said they could not. Well my mother has died on their clock. She was not feeling well before her heart attack and they still DID NOT contact me to inform me of this. This is just a complete money grab. $1500 a month per bed, with approx 12 residents. That's $18,000 per month!! $216,000 a year! The money clearly does not go into the building itself. It reeks of urine and is infested with bedbugs. The rooms are filthy and unfit for rats to live here. The people and the city that allow this to happen is beyond me. Please don't place your loved one here, they do not care about the residents.

Absolutely no complaints...my husband is s well cared for ... unfortunately it's only temporary until we find a permanent place. Wish he could stay permanently ..staff are great

Crazy

Never been inside any suites, but have talked to many residents about bugs and disrepair. They are not all happy there. I mostly use the convenience store 👍, and the pharmacy which is only convenient & has poor customer service in the Home Health supplies section. Pharmacy also has postal outlet.

Fantastic, very supportive, a kind, respectful and happy place to stay

I showed up at dinner time to visit my brother and as usual I was greeted very warmly and made to feel welcome. I found my brother in great spirits and very happy. I was also invited to stay for dinner glazed ham potatoes and veggies. coffee and cake. Staff are amazing at Baywoods place. Keep up the great work. Cindy
