Poor customer service. Screwed up my escrow account and delayed payment on my mortgage because of it. Tried to update information on the mortgage and was told I had to refinance. Better have a good lawyer when dealing with these guys.

Unprofessional, do not return phone calls. I don't recommend them.

I am so impressed with this company. They always answer my questions and are so helpful. Their website is terrible so I have to deal with customer service quite a bit. I have never had a bad experience with them. They even helped me out when I had financial hardship during Hurricane Harvey. Great company!

CMHC has long been our business partner; the Crown corporation provides high-ratio mortgage insurance to enable homebuyers to put as low as 5% or 5%+10% down payment to purchase their own homes. The mortgage insurance fee does not need to pay upfront on the closing date, as most homebuyers merely add the premium to the mortgage. Please beware of the new rule on the minimum down payment. For the first $500,000 purchase price, the min. down payment is 5%. For the portion from $500,001 to $1 MM, the min. down payment is 10%. No insurance will be undertaken if the purchase price is over $1 MM.
