Colin and his team have helped me with multiple transactions (all with their own complications) and have never let me down. They're organised, communicate well, and are always available to help however they can. I would have no hesitation referring friends and family to them.

Good branch. Wait times a little long sometimes but no unreasonable.

I hate to make this review here because it is not the branch's fault....but.. What an awful experience opening a new account at @RBC #RBC #royalbank 1 - You guys did a hard inquiry to my credit file although I was not asking for any credit for you, lowering my credit score. Normally other institutions would do a soft inquiry if it is just to verify identity. I was told at the branch “it is done to set up the limits”. What do the transactions limits have to do with your credit score? If we were setting up credit limits I would agree, but not transaction limits. 2 – You guys advertise so proudly the international money transfer for only 13.5 dollars but do not specify on the Legal Disclaimers that only works when the recipient is a person and not a business. 3 – You guys locked out my account for suspicious activity without even giving me a phone call in order to verify if the transactions were legit. Suspicious activity, defined as “not normal or regular activity”. Compared against what??? It is a new account for God sake! 4- After being fed up with this horrible experience and driving across the city because the branch close to my work place would not close my account, I had to go to the one where I originally opened the account to find out I cannot close the accounts or withdraw the money I sent to myself through e-transfer until 4 more business days because I am apparently being flagged as a person who is attempting fraud. 5 – When I first sent the e-transfer to make the first deposit I had to even call because only the savings account appeared active, not the checking. 6- Dear RBC, you really need to review your business processes and line up your Information Technology Systems with them. That being said, how far are you willing to push “my own security” trading off the quality assurance of your product, making my overall experience as a new customer a nightmare.

Had mortgage with saquib he was very nice and helpful at first, but when we needed him to change our mortgage from variable to fix last year he never answered our calls and never called back on our voice mails. Now the rate are high tsk tsk ...

This branch is such a joke! Went Into make a DEPOSIT for my husband (blue cross benefit cheque) and was told by teller and the manager I beleive Carmen .. that I can't deposit on his behalf! I have done a cheque deposit as third party before at a different bank no issues. But instead she came over wasted my fricken time asked me questions which I confirmed address and work place of his and then she says no sorry can't!! This is why I closed my account with RBC for their lack of customer service and employees who give u wrong info everytime you call or come in! Now my husband who I told a long time ago to close his account will be on Friday when he's back in town!!! You guys are good at one thing! Losing clients!

Service has just recently crashed down. Cost cutting leading to incompetent cheap labour who has no idea what customer service is who is clueless on the policies and procedures...it’s a sinking ship. Been customer for 16years and first time felt the need to comment as this stupid place has my money. If your money is there too you should be very concerned.

Words are not enough to thank Sidharth for his guidance through out the mortgage process. we thank him everyday for getting us into our dream nest.He is the man who made this whole complicated process so smooth and took away all of our stress away by always saying ''that i am there for you'' and he means it. I don't think it would have been possible without him. His service is exceptional and beyond what mortgage brokers are supposed to do for their clients. He pays a lot of attention to your financial profile, each and every minute detail about your case and guides you with what is right and wrong. He is very professional, , knowledgeable and organised, but at the same time he gives a personal touch to his service by caring for what can be good or bad for you. He is such a helpful person that he even used to answer to our silly questions which had nothing to do with mortgage broker. He would even answer our calls at 10 pm at night and would still be so calm and patient while listening to our concerns. After meeting several other mortgage brokers, we took the best decision to go with Sidharth. HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to my friends and everybody else who is planning to buy a house. Specially recommend him to first time home buyers as you can put your worries aside when he is working on your file.
