I had taken Sua's Commercial Financing class, and the deals I've been able to close have more than paid for the fees I had paid for the class. Aside from the knowledge that he shared during class, he continued to be a resourceful support to assist me in my business. This on-going support is far more valuable than the class time itself. I recommend any brokers that are unfamiliar with commercial financing start with Sua's organized curriculum.

Very good service but had to wait to get vervice , very help you vervice. But it takes time.

Account manager was barley understandable, and no one is friendly, I'm not sure how this branch is still here, My recomdation is go anywhere else..

Not really a problem with this particular branch. But I was never able to reach the branch over the phone. Ended up talking to HSBC call centre. They said they were to forward message to the branch for appointment setup. Waited for a week and nobody called. Emailed my Relationship Manager and the email got bounced back. HSBC has some sort of stupid policy that blocks email from clients. The whole HSBC system is simply ridicules, making things very inconvenient for clients!!!

They need more tellers at this location. I’m in line for 10 minutes already and there’s about 12 people behind me now. More tellers = better customer service.

I had a great experience working with the team of True North Mortgage, Burnaby. Initially I had conversation with Andrew, he explained me every detail very patiently. Eventually I dealt with Jacky who was very professional and made sure every small detail is covered and explained that to me and we come up with a good deal. I would definitely like to work with them in future.

Don't fall for the bonus new account offer - this bank is a trap where you end up losing money just by banking with them. If people actually read reviews of banks, HSBC would have no customers except for the desperate. Customer service is ineffective unless you're ultra rich, extremely long waits, disorganized phone centre that send you on wild goose chases, unhelpful and rude tellers - the list goes on! Their technology is stuck in the ancient past, causing more headache than ease when trying to deposit money. Imagine a bank that makes deposits difficult! Fees are already expensive and going UP November 2017. I can't imagine how I lasted 10 years with this nightmare of a bank. Switching was the best thing I've done. Seriously, RUN from this bank.
