Easy to book an appointment and a great location. The whole eye exam was straight forward and I found the staff to be knowledgeable and informed me about all the tests and what they were for. Overall a pleasant experience

Clarington Optometry has an excellent selection of frames and the service is second to none. We dealt with Pauline who spent over an hour with us. Very patient and knows what to look for when fitting frames. I give them 5 plus stars! Thank you so much!

I have been a customer of Maaz Optical for a few years now. Rafi is very knowledgeable about his products and is very courteous and helpful. I would not go anywhere else for my eye exams and eye glasses.

The ladies in the office are super nice, but I am sad to say that I have not had a good experience here at all. Had an eye exam in Nov 2017 and still don't have my glasses (March 2018). It took about a month to get the first pair and they were not what I wanted, sent them back and waited another month and still not what I asked for. Dr started to get snippy with me about my requests saying that it is impossible to get a progressive lens where I will be able to see everything clearly. Hmmm, doesn't sound right to me. Waiting now for the 3rd pair. I don't understand why it takes 4 months to get one pair of glasses. I feel that I should be compensated somehow for this huge inconvenience. Found my exam was not very thorough either. Will not be going back.

I was impressed by Dr Lee's level of professionalism and I felt he did a very thorough job. I left knowing that my eyes were in good health. Dr Lee also saw my 11 yr old daughter and he was great with her, she was comfortable the whole time.

Expert staff knew exactly which frames would fit my face shape. Picked up new glasses in record time!

I called to make an appointment and qualify for a yearly OHIP eye exam. Her staff advised that the Dr will not see any new OHIP patients anymore due to the action between optometrists and OHIP payouts. They then told me all about this action being taken (like I have any say in this) so I was refused an appointment. Upon looking into this matter myself it has been made clear that as of September 1st this may be policy until an agreement is reached, however it was August 2nd that I called. So she is denying patients who may need help have an eye condition that can get worse to the point that there is no longer anything that could be done to help. Ignoring patients is a disgusting practice by any dr ever especially over money. You can still aid patients while this is worked out. Doing declines this early (before September and even at all) shows how much she cares about patients and that is shown to be not at all.

Everyone here is always very pleasant and incredibly professional. You get exactly what you need here.

What can I say it's a Hospital... It has come in handy over the years and the staff are friendly enough consideing how busy it can get at times. Just happy we have a place closer then Oshawa.

Worst clinic ever. Dr. Kate Newton told my boyfriend he had Hand, Foot Mouth Disease when he had ZERO signs of it. He had to take a day off work as he was told its very contagious and he didn’t even come near our 3 month old son for the day. He ended up going to our family Dr to get a second opinion because it didn’t seem right. We only went to the clinic because it was later on at night and our family Dr was booked up for the day.
