Very pleasant and caring office staff. Vet techs knowledgable, kind and helpful. Doctors are very good about calling with test results and explaining your pet's condition. Doctors also are very patient and have a very good bedside manner. They take the time to answer all of your questions. I only wish there was a human medical practice around here that was as good.

We were staying at a nearby campground, visiting from the U.S. Our dog hurt his toe, so we took him to this clinic. They saw him right away even though we didn't have an appointment. These people are outstanding. They examined his foot, took xrays, explained the issue, and sent him home with meds. He's much better now. And they are reasonably priced. We are so grateful for their speedy and professional service. I highly recommend them.

AMAZING staff. I love Dr. Julia. She has to be the best veterinarian I have ever encountered. She is the type of person in it for the animals, not the money. I have and will continue to reccomend her and her sraff to anyone. They saved my dogs life, rated us as family and always made us feel like we were at home there.

I did not expect our dog to receive the high level of care that he did, particularly, because our dog has a serious case of fear aggression. I wish all vets could learn how to connect with vulnerable pets the way Dr. Chris Hauser was able to with our dog, Toby. My mouth literally dropped when after giving our dog his much dreaded shots, Dr. Hauser walked out with a happy Toby. I still cannot believe there were no shrieks of pain heard from our dog while he received his shots and examination. It was a healing experience. I am deeply grateful and optimistic about the future of vet care for vulnerable animals. Thanks so much again, VCA!

Excellent dining experience. I went there with my two young grandsons, one is 3 years old the other is 5 years old. The waitress was extremely friendly and very accommodating. The food was really delicious and plentiful. The kids menu has lots to choose from. Both my grandson's had spaghetti and meatballs and they had a take-home box each full of leftovers! I had the homemade hamburger with brie cheese, bacon, lettuce,, and spicy mayo... It was delicious!!
Martindale Animal Clinic
100 Fourth Ave, St. Catharines, Ontario, L2S 3P2, Canada
It is long pass time I posted this review of Martindale animal clinic. I started with them in 2012 when moving to st.catharines. It been a most pleasurable experience. Meeting with and knowing Dr. McGill. My Dog was born with generic defects of the joints. Dr. McGill was always able to treat this very successfully through her life without harsh or expensive medication that did not cause harmful side effects. When I first meet Dr.McGill when my dog was 3 I asked if I could expect to have her with me till she was 10 or 12 years old. Her response was I don't see why not. She called it right. Dr.McGill has a unique unwavering commitment to animal welfare and care. As does her staff of vets ie Dr. Barns and Dr. Bailey. See takes time to make sure everyone that works in her clinic share her values.
( and I thank you all For everything you have done for me and alise)
Now I would yo share the following. My Dog was presented to Martindale some months ago with a problem breathing. We seen Dr. Bailey I believe (sorry if I got that wrong). It was determined my dog had a ruptured tumor on her spleen. She needed surgery immediately. Dr.McGill was call on her day off. She happened to be in Toronto at the time once notified she without hesitation said she was returning immediately to preform the need surgery. She instructed her staff to prepare my dog while she was on her way.
Surgery was successful tumor was benign. Without Dr. McGill years of experience and her commitment my dog would have passed that day I do believe this. Unfortunately my dog did pass some months later. This is of no felt or control of Martindale. Just old age and natural causes. Dr.McGill and her staff gave my dog the best options and care for a great quility of life. And believe me she did under the care of Martindale.
It will be a said day for animals when Dr.McGill retires.
Personal note to Dr.McGill here's to another 10+ Don t retire on us. I am looking forward to it.
My wife was a breeder of GSD for 30 years.as such I have seen many vets and or clinics over the years. I can tell you by far Martindale is the single most superior in care and commitment in animal welfare I personally seen in my lifetime hands down.
I now have a new pup and I would trust no one else but Martindale.
We'll be seen ya soon.
