From the beginning this has been a stellar studio and a fantastic yoga experience. Now, 3 years later, I've done my yoga teacher's training with them and I couldn't be happier!!

I have been going to HYSC for a year now and the instructors ROCK! They are friendly, attentive and experienced. The studio atmosphere is friendly and it migrates to all that visit the studio. My only comment is on the mobile app - it needs work as it crashes every time I load it on my phone.

Siva Yoga is a wonderful Sivananda Yoga centre conveniently located on Homewood Avenue just off of Locke Street in Hamilton. Instructor Danielle Downey is not only a highly qualified instructor, having trained at various Sivananda Centres globally, but is also an intuitively nurturing instructor. She pays careful attention to each of her students and offers creative modifications to each pose so that students can achieve their full potential while respecting their bodies' needs. Danielle is also very good at encouraging beginners while challenging more experienced students. Sivananda yoga is both a challenging and sustainable style of yoga, incorporating intensive postures with relaxation, so that students build strength and flexibility, without risk of injury. I highly recommend Siva Yoga for anyone who wishes to enjoy a lifelong yoga practice.

Sun yoga is so calming and relaxing and the locker rooms are so clean! The entire space has such beautiful energy and i am so glad i found them! Their classes are wonderful.

Sjonum is unlike any other yoga studio I've been to. They actually have two studios, one indoor and one outdoor - The indoor studio is surrounded by an organic sprout farm, so it smells incredible and the outdoor studio is tucked in the middle of the woods! Yoga in the middle of the woods and all you hear is the rustle of the trees, the birds and a slight wooshing sound from highway miles away. Every yoga enthusiast should try this studio at least once as it is truly unique.

Amazing teachers at this studio. Friendly, caring, and detail oriented. Every instructor adjusts instruction and offers modifications to help all students participate safely and comfortably. (While still encouraging us to work hard!)

Unpretentious studio with a variety of classes, instructors & times. I especially like the HVF classes for a tougher workout. The great thing about yoga is that you push yourself to do whatever is right for you that day - sometimes you have more to give & other days, not so much. Each class is unique so you never know what you will get that day. Amy & Ryan (the owners) emphasize that it's all about YOUR practice & doing what's best for you. The owners are fun & friendly as well as the other staff & the atmosphere is very welcoming.

I love going to yoga at Yoga Truly. I’m a regular at Megan’s classes and the energy, passion and humour that she brings is better than any other yoga studio I’ve been to. Highly recommend!
