Flooring

Very bad place to do business with very horrible customer service skills. He came out did a quote told me be a week and never return a call or text after that moment. so this person likes to waste your time and make you start from scratch and go without your closet or your other area of your house that you're trying to have work done and start over and get other guote. Was not willling to undercut or remove baseboards for a true finished. Refused to answer any questions. Placing harwoods up close base boards to cover with trim is a sign of cheap work.

Brooks and his team have been excellent to work with on our project. Brooks' knowledge and experience provided me the peace of mind to know our job would be done correctly and up to our standards. This peace of mind is worth a premium and fortunately Brooks does not charge one. I work in the construction industry and see the good and the bad of the industry and I do not hesitate in saying Brooks and those who represent him are in the upper echelon of the industry. I cannot speak more highly of his work and would recommend him to a friend, neighbor or family member without hesitation. Thank you Brooks.

Craig is the one to see, he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

I went in. Asked where my item was, given accurate information, got it and left. Very easy.

Milly was really helpful! She matched everything perfect for my mom ☺I was very pleased with our selection

Richard Uhl (owner, Uhl Stonework & Epoxy Floors) and his team are fantastic and I highly recommend them to anyone considering hardscapes or epoxy floorwork. Before we selected Uhl Stonework, Richard came out and gave us an estimate on our patio and outlined the process of designing & building. He was kind and helped my wife and I understand exactly what to expect through the entire process. We then took to his website to look at the many examples of patio projects, so we felt comfortable that we knew what we were going to get, and selected his company to put in our patio. On day one of the job, Richard's team arrived and they proved to be highly skilled, respectful, and treated our property with the utmost care. They were friendly yet respected our privacy throughout the 5 day patio construction. It was fun to see the work that was done each day, and Richard and his team helped us understand the process and why they were doing what they did on each day. His team finished the job by the fifth day, and now we have a beautiful natural stone patio in our backyard to enjoy! In summary, I strongly recommend Uhl Stonework & Epoxy Floors to anyone who is looking for a reputable company with the proper skillset and exceptional staff to do an excellent job.

This company was recommended to us and was also the best estimate. We had an in-room gas fireplace removed and this left a nice hole in the hardwood floor. We had them tear out around this area and "weave in" oak flooring. But it was a much bigger job than we imagined! They needed to SAND the whole area (breakfast room, kitchen, small pantry closet, small hallway, powder room, and closet)! And then they stained the wood to exactly match the adjacent areas, and finally applied 3 coats of poly sealer. They explained everything and the work went according to plan and we were happy to pay. However, after it completely dried, we saw that the floor appeared a bit "wavy." My husband phoned them, and they came over immediately. It seems that maybe one of the sanding machines was a bit out of balance, but rather than making excuses and blowing us off -- or doing some sort of "touch up" job, they offered to COMPLETELY REDO the entire floor area at no expense to us!! They started the following day and did the whole job all over again 100% -- which meant labor and materials, including completely replacing all the oak shoemolding in these areas. They did NOT complain, had a great attitude and did the whole thing PERFECTLY!!! I'm still in shock! Talk about good old fashioned values and hard work -- Superior Wood Floors in Raleigh is FANTASTIC!

Great service and great people to work with. Carpet, vinyl and hardwood looks great.
