Flooring

Best flooring business in the triangle area. If you are thinking of replacing any kind of flooring, go to Mangum's gallery of floors! Been doing business with Alan Mangum for many years now he has never let me down!

I'm a very particular person when it comes to home repair and maintenance. I do most of the work myself because of this but when it came to refinishing almost 1000 feet of oak hardwood floors I decided to look around for a contractor. After interviewing several contractors I settled on Green Step Flooring for a number of reasons. Long story short two guys showed up, Reynaldo and Dmitry. They removed all the oak shoe molding, sanded and completely refinished the floors with the Bona HD product, replaced the shoe molding with real oak molding and the job came out fantastic. These guys really took pride in the outcome of their work and it shows in our job. The molding fits better than the original, the floors are perfectly smooth with the exact finish we were looking for and for a more professional look we also went with the oak registers which fit perfectly and look awesome. Thanks Green Step words can't express how pleased we are with your guys workmanship.

Nei did a great job refinishing our wood floors downstairs, as well as the staircase, handrail and banister. He also installed hardwood floors for our upstairs hallway to match. The best thing about Nei is that he was always on time and he always returned emails and text messages in a timely manner. We will definitely call Nei for any future floor needs.

I can't rate them highly enough. First of all, they gave me the best price without haggling. Another company quoted me $2700 more and even after haggling the were $900 more. Terry's came right on time with 6 workers and completed installation of Coretec planking in almost the entire house in one day, leaving only an 11x11 room for the next day. That's a kitchen, foyer, sun room, large family/dining room, guest bedroom and master bedroom. The entire job was 1733 sq ft. The installation crew was fantastic. Terry's even talked me out of buying new quarter rounds, saving me $465. They are the BEST!!

Customer service could be better. Cashier called me "sir" when I'm clearly not one. Also, one of the helpers in the aisles told me that a vent air diverter would work as long as the register grate is metal. It is metal. The diverter's magnets aren't strong enough to hold it (It's on the ceiling). So, now I have to buy some rare earth magnets and affix them to it, somehow. I bought a water filter for my refrigerator on the advice of another helper, and now the water won't work at all. I have been replacing filters in this appliance for 11 years, so I know how to do it. Overall, I'm irritated about this experience, but they at least had the weatherstripping I needed.

I had a wonderful experience with Wes and Brentwood Carpets and Flooring. Wes went out of his way to provide exceptional customer service, in helping select the carpeting, installation, follow-up and making sure everything ran on schedule. I have already recommended them to several friends.

Great experience. Their consultation was excellent. No pressure to buy anything that you don't need. Very good follow-up on scheduling and installation. The installation went quicker than expected. We're very happy with our carpet and will definitely use Carolina In Home Flooring again.

This location is the warehouse. The store is at 911 Kildaire Farm Road. Good experience there.

Extremely happy with the work that JD Floor Store did in our home! John was extremely helpful in working with us through the entire process of selecting and installing flooring for our entire home. This large project (old floor removal, new floor replacement, stair re-finishing) went off without a problem, thanks to the effort of John, Miguel and the entire crew. Over a year out, we are still very happy with our beautiful hickory flooring. I would highly recommend JD Floor Store!

Daniel and Teresa were extremely helpful and professional in helping us decide on a new floor and backsplash. We were very indecisive with which floor pattern and backsplash would match our home. We had an idea what we wanted but we weren’t a %100 sure. Teresa narrowed down a few samples which she believed would fit our interests to take home. We held on to the samples for a few days but they were very patient with us upon returning them. The installation on both projects took about a day each. When finished Daniel himself showed up to our home to notify us about any changes and ensured we were happy with everything once the installation was done. We couldn’t be happier with the results. We will be returning to Francesca’s for future home projects.

Dishwasher shoppers beware. If you want Home Depot to install your dishwasher and you have a solid surface countertop like granite or Corian, you will pay an additional $80 for installation above the $99 (not disclosed at their website) but that's not all. The installation will happen in a separate visit, a few days AFTER the delivery. So, you will need to make arrangements to be home twice AND you will have to deal with having a huge box IN YOUR KITCHEN while you wait for the "installer". Further, do NOT attempt to use an AMEX gift card for your purchase. Their system will prompt you for the card # and the security code and will accept what you enter but the order will NOT process because it turns out they don't accept AMEX gift cards (no mention of this on the payment page)...but Home Depot will still put a "pending charge" on your card and you will NOT be able to use it anywhere else until the "pending charge" comes off (which can be 1 to 8 days). If there's a way to make a dishwasher purchase MORE PAINFUL, I don't know what it is.

I had my wood floors refinished and was very delighted that there was very little clean-up. The vacuum system that picks up 98% of the dust really works! The crews were very professional and friendly. Great job! I will be recommending Lee's Hardwood to all my friends and neiborghes.

What a great experience we had with this local company. Tammy took the time to walk us through each step as we remodeled our master bath. Highly recommended!
