Hotel/Motel

The location is close to the airport, but can be a bit of a pain to find the entrance to the parking lot. The room is brand new, clean and looks amazing. The front desk was fast and efficient. The breakfast is an average contanential breakfast. The pool was nice, but a bit small. Overall great experience.

The hotel has a nice atmosphere and is in a good location. The rooms are nice and appear to be renovated recently. The staff are friendly and very accommodating.

Great customer service. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay during a road trip from Toronto to Edmonton !

Amazing hotel. Great sized and clean rooms. Once you enter hotel itsclean and a plaseasnt clean smell. It is pet friendly, didn't bother me and it was nice to see that accommodation for people with pets. I'd stay here again for sure. The only issue was our bathtub didn't hold water for a bath for our kids. Other than that super nice, clean and comfortable beds. Breakfast is 7am to 10 am but we couldn't stay for breakfast so I can't comment on that. 5 gold stars for sure ! Adding pics of our room (as you can see the kids wanted their stuffies in the pics.

The rooms were okay good washrooms, great hospitality and good internet connection which isn't also the case for motels in the are.

I have been staying at this hotel for years. Just outside Thunder Bay. Nice quiet location beautiful grounds. I don't understand why anyone would stay anywhere else. Great Staff. Rooms clean and comfortable. Good value. This is the place to stay in Thunder Bay

For a basic hotel, and prices available, it was good. Instead of just a double sided bed, and only a bucket for ice, would've loved to see maybe a queen and a mini fridge, but otherwise, not much to complain for. Bed was neat, tv was with lots of channels, (yet no channel guide found on any channel or button), and free Wi-Fi, so I'd stay there again, and I'm picky with places.

Great place to stay. I enjoyed the selection of food they had for breakfast. Friendly and professional staff. Nice clean rooms.

Since renovating the Royalton has become much nicer, great stage for bands and karaoke.

It a total dive but the food isnt terrible and it's in a grate location right by the thunder bay Marina

Decent place clean rooms

Stayed for the Bluesfest. Room was small but very clean, mattress and pillow protectors (which I appreciated) and new bathroom. Very no frills but we just slept there so no amenities were required. It was quiet, close to our venue and the staff were very friendly. Would stay again....can't beat the price.

Very nice boss , convenient place, comfortable room.

Very nice convention hall. I went for my graduation ceremony and it was beautiful and elegant. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. I would go back again for any large social event.

The staff are very friendly & helpful. The rooms are very, very nice and modern and the beds are comfortable. It was also very quiet, but we were on the top floor.

Awesome front desk staff. So pleasant and so helpful!

Best hotel, restaurant in town. The restaurant is pretty decent too. Perfect north core location, everything you need is nearby.

Only stayed one night so only really tested the bed. Works like a bed. Not the best but no complaints

Excellent and caring management. Clean, quiet, and cozy.

Best motel I've stayed at during my road trip from Hamilton to Thunder Bay and points between. Clean clean clean. The room actually smelled fresh and inviting. Very well kept. The owners certainly take pride and care in their business. It really shows. I was very happy with my two day stay at this motel. I highly recommend booking a room here when you visit Thunder Bay. I will be back. ☺
