It was good for the price. Under $100 for the night. Breakfast was toast and bagels. If yoy there after 9 pm you most likely would have call in to office to get a room. The room we stayed in had an old mini fridge which had a high pitch noise all night.

Very spacious. Carpet in the room stained and seemed old. And yes like the other reviews the front office has a pretty foul smell. Makes it hard to have breakfast there. Good thing Tim Hortons right across the street.

We have started in a number of rooms here. They are all decent value for your money. Nothing outrageous, either a queen or two doubles, small desk, small dresser, tv, bathroom. Good location near Walmart and Zehrs, fairly close to the town square. The swimming pool is a hit for kids, very well sized.

I cut my hand on a jagged piece of tile in the pool and it bled pretty profusely, but other than that I had a great time!

Close enough to tobbermory, good bed, pillows and sheets, it was super clean, renovated bathroom, the staff was friendly. I super recommend it. On the con: The fridge had no door for the freezer inside, and the breakfast was simple and the placement of things didn't encourage a line to be formed, could be, as a suggestion, changed in a way that you start from somewhere and move clockwise. Those are minor cons. As you can't beat the price, and cleanliness, silence and service are everything, 5-stars. I would go again.

Have been here a week and find staff very friendly, efficient and willing to help in any way they can. Breakfast room is not expansive in food fare but it should accommodate just about anyone with at least a basic breakfast. For me, I'm quite content. The pool facilities while not huge are very pleasant and whenever I used them I was alone. There is an expansive rear greens with various pieces of furniture for sitting or lounging and is quite relaxing with lot's of greenery and backing to a forest. The hotel itself is very clean and quite the modernistic (contemporary) design similar to the colorful boutique hotels you'd find fronting the ocean in Miami. Only a few minutes south of Goderich, but unfortunately not within walking distance to anything nearby. All in all - It's a great stay!

We are currently staying in this lovely hotel. Very clean and comfortable.

Having only eaten at the restaurant, it is good satisfying pub fare. On occasion the portions can be small, and the kitchen can be slow. Over all a good place to eat.

Location is great. Close to the beach and yet very quiet for relaxing

We had an amazing time here and enjoyed every part of our stay. The breakfast was amazing!!.... UPDATE: we went again this year and it was another amazing experience. Doug and Tracey are so thoughtful and shared information with us that made our stay even better. Highly recommend visiting :)...p.s. Breakfast was just as good as we remembered :)

First of all $153 a night for a Motel 6 is ridiculous secondly when I booked I asked for an upper floor away from the elevator. When I checked in they gave me a room on the ground floor. When I mentioned my reservation request they stated “oh we don’t see that on our computer”. When I went to my room it was one of the smallest queen size beds I’ve ever seen and the room was crawling with ants. On the bed, the bed side table and the floor. I asked for another room and they gave me a room with two twin beds right across from the elevator. So much for booking and paying for a queen size bed away from the elevators. I’ve stayed here twice before and the rate was never that high and the rooms were better but close to what I’d expect for a low rate, no frills motel chain. I was totally put off by this stay and will probably never stay here again or recommend it to anyone. I stayed the next night in the Motel 6 in Peterborough for $30 a night less, on an upper floor and once again a small queen size bed, if it was one at all.

The Best Western is a great hotel to stay in. The facilities are good and the staff always very pleasant. Also, the breakfast is really good with lots of choices and something for everyones taste. Also, the hotel in Huntsville is in a very convenient location with lots of restaurants and stores if you have forgotten something you need for your vacation.

Excellent service. Friendly staff. Facilities clean and room was lovely. A good sélection of food at brakfast.
