A magical place, full of community and space for growth. My children LOVE their school! I love the well-rounded education that reaches not only their head, but their heart and hands as well.

Everyone is in a CHRISTAIN environment. They are all super kind and caring!👍🏻

Peppermint Junction is a great school! The teachers & office staff are amazing. I highly recommend this school to everyone I meet!

My oldest son just graduated from 8th grade at MSO. He has been so nurtured by all the staff. His teachers have challenged him in just the right way. I will never forget the day he said, "I love school". He was 8 years old and had already been to three schools, he has had never said this before! Our youngest is in 2nd grade now and is thriving! We are so grateful for the Montessori School of Ojai.

Only did two years there but it deserves 5 stars

Excellent small community of caring people.

My daughter loves VMS! She's learning so much and absolutely LOVES to read since starting here! She also makes up math homework on the weekends! She's always enjoyed books, but now she's really reading and it's challenging to get her away from a book. The life skills are fantastic too! I asked her if she makes a mess while eating at school and she said, "No, because we use place mats." We now use place mats at home and she has stopped making a mess... She also LOVES before and after care! We were recently missing school for a couple days to go to Disneyland and she said she was sad she wasn't going to be at school and wished she could do both. She gets dressed fast to get to before care earlier and has requested to be the last one to leave after care. I can't say enough about the Montessori experience and particularly this school. She loves Ms. Vijay! I love the opportunity parents have to be involved and participate in wherever are skill sets lie. We had to move and change her schools 3 years in a row, and we are so grateful we found VMS and continue to flourish her love for school!

My nephew has been attending Grace Valley Christian Academy for two years now and I'm amazed with how much he learns there. I was so impressed when I saw him reading in kindergarten! He has an extensive vocabulary for a 6 year old. They truly provide a high quality education with a strong academic focus. In addition to strong academics they also provide a welcoming learning environment. Anytime I speak with my nephew he excitedly tells me about his teachers, classmates and what he's currently learning. I wish there were schools like GVCA in southern California.

Loved it so fun

I would NOT recommend this school to anyone. The font desk staff (Mika Mercado) was VERY rude about concerned parents calling in to check on their children. I was basically told to stop calling and bothering when I had only called once that day and once the day prior only (because it was only my daughters first day of preschool) and I had information to give to the teacher about my daughter. I was also told I could make payment during end of the week but received a phone call during work hours basically forcing me to get off work to immediately make a payment or my child will need to pick up and get dropped out of school that day even after we discussed and agreed that I could make the payment at the end of the week ensuring me that it wasn't going to be a problem. Also when I arrived to pick up my daughter early from school I walked in on my daughter crying very badly while the teachers were just ignoring her and never gave me a straight answer to why she started crying like that. My experience showed me that this school doesn't care about the children's well being and more about money. I'm glad I learned from my mistake and would never take my daughter there again. Thankfully my daughter is now enrolled at a CLEAN Christian school with friendly, understanding and helpful staff that genuinely care for their students!

Don't let the location fool you. This school: 1) produces the highest test scores in California year after year 2) teaches kids logic and how to think (know what they believe, know what other people believe, know how to form a logical argument to share what they believe)
