Towing

Went here about 2 months ago due to my car having an issue that needed to be addressed right away. Proserve ended up being the closest place available. Steve the owner was very accommodating and showed me what was wrong with my car. Steve also explains things very well and has reasonable prices. I ended up switching to proserve from my previous mechanic because of how great an experience it was.

Fast service and response time, fair prices and very friendly staff. Highly recommend these guys.

Quick & Easy

Well if you want to be told one price and given another to tow a vehicle 10 kms and not only pay a different amount quoted but then to be charges 5% on top of your 824 dollar bill to pay the fee to use your credit cared to apy for the two and the total being 866.00 then this is the place for you ! They are rude , dont give you the price quoted and dont care, what a rip off. Thier bill says Towing and Recover with a small ONT limited number 1816740 and the bill they give you , they charge HST but no HST number is anywhere on the bill. Then your credit card shows the charge to a whole different company called Planet Tint. Confusing, CRA where are u????? STAY AWAY!!!!!

Had an excellent first experience at Mills Motors. After briefly browsing the lot a sales representative came and asked if there was any way he could help. He quickly found us a brand new Sierra that had everything we could ask for and more! Everything went seamlessly from confirming the details for the vehicle we were trading in, to going through our financing and warranty options. Thank you to Allan “Ferachii” Fera, Mike Molnar, and Jon Carter for making our first experience a great one, we’ll be recommending you to anyone looking for a new GMC in the future.

Sadly one star is the lowest I can rate this place although it doesn't even deserve that. Today I blew a tire on the highway with 4 kids all under the age of 3 in the car. Called J&D towing to come out to change the tire for me. I was told they would be out in 20 mins as the tech was coming from Whitby. Fine. Moments after I called a gentleman pulled off the road and offered to change it for me. Right away I called J & D towing to cancel the call. The man I spoke with who was extremely rude said fine he was cancelling the call. To bad that wasn't the end. A short time after a white Jeep Cherokee pulled up and a younger guy got out of the car, upon the sighting of someone else changing the tire he instantly became aggressive stating that he would be changing me for a service call. His dispatcher never mentioned one thing to me about a 'service call' so I called him back. He was even more ignorate then the cancelling call.. swearing and yelling. Said not to worry about the 'service call'. Which then made the service tech even more pissed off. He proceeded to tell me that he would be following me until I went to an atm to withdrawl money. I let him know that I would be calling the police if he didn't leave immediately and he began yelling at me telling me never to call J & D ever again (Don't worry I won't be 😂) and then aggressively sped away onto the highway almost causing a collison. I wouldn't call nor recommend this company to my worst enemy. In the matter both of the men approached this situation it would of been safer for me to unload all the kids and walk home. Did I mention he showed up in a Jeep Cherokee? Unmarked!

Garbage service the on duty manager just hung up on me today, no respect!!!! Bunch of liers, guy tells me to hold ill get the manger, than gets on the phone starts talking too me? After i question him why am i still speaking too you, youre not the manager? Than the on duty manager picks up the phone, so ehat happened there?

Worst service ever! Called at @ 8:35am for a tow call due a broke down vehicle sitting at an intersection. Was told that someone would be there in about an hour, 4 hours and one parking ticket later, no tow truck! I was able to drive there from Kingston with a u-haul trailer before a 'local' company was able to show up. I spoke with the manager about covering the 30$ ticket that was written at 11:35am, (3 hours after they were called), and I was told that I would be taking them to court for the 30$! Well guess what, I am taking them to court and since I don't care about waisting there time in court and costing them a lot more than 30$, I will let the court decide whats right or or wrong. But in the meantime I will be telling everyone I know about the terrible service this place provides. I called Canadian tire roadside assistance to tell them the situation and they have upgraded my membership for free to the gold for a year and apologized for such negligence on the towing companies part. They have even offered to help take care of the ticket even though they agree that Bobs towing should be doing that. And to the manager, Im not 'slamming' you on google as you called it, I'm telling it exactly how it is. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of this place!!

Nick at front desk was super nice, the mechanics are super friendly and very knowledgeable...awesome! I would trust my vehicle with their mechanic named Cody anytime.

I called Garden City Towing due to their high online rating and I am so glad that I did! The owner (I believe his name was Ian) was onsite within 20 minutes and took care of everything very professionally and efficiently. He was lovely to work with and I not only recommend him to others, but I would use him again (fingers crossed that I don’ to).

Stole all my new spark plugs, stole new battery covered by a 6 year warranty with the receipt, relaced the battery with carquest battery, that company isnt even around anymore. charged me for work I didn't need. Put in a pcm from eBay, that was from a manual transmission car, my car is a automatic.
