Loved how the vet treated us and our dog, great experience

Today my Dear Bosco was put in eternal sleep ,the vetranarian and staff was incredibly compassionate as comforting for both myself and my boy. . Dr. Jennifer Thompson and the staff showed great compassion and kindness to our beautiful cat Tiger and patience with us in explaining his situation and helping us to understand his care. Dr. Jennifer was exceptional in reading Tiger's signals and respecting him. We were extremely grateful for the above and beyond level of care and accommodation we were shown and highly reccommend this clinic to anyone especially cats.

My girlfriend and I found a skunk that has been hit by a car and could barely walk at 12:30am on a Saturday night. The animal control services was closed and the "pest" removal companies would "only do it for a fee". I called the Mississauga Oakville Veterinary Emergency Hospital and the lady on the phone told me that if we could secure the skunk and bring it in, they could help cease it's suffering in the final hours. We arrived at the hospital at about 1am after capturing the skunk with towels and the vet technician that first came out wanted nothing to do with the skunk, said they ONLY thing they could do was euthanize it, without even wanting to take a LOOK at it and it's injuries to let us know if it was even worth bringing her/him to a rehab facility. This amazing vet tech by the name of Jen heard what was going on and immediately came OUTSIDE (where we were told to sit). She asked my girlfriend to put the little guy on the bench to ASSESS its injuries. The little guy hopped off the bench and we could see that its back legs were DRAGGING behind him/her on the ground. Jen went back in for a few moments while I got on the phone with the Ontario Wildlife Center and got the name of a lady from Skunk Haven who rehabilitates skunks. She suggested that Jen do a reaction test to see if there was feeling in his/her back legs, which was negative. Jen came back out with a syringe with a sedative to ease the little one's pain. The rehab specialist on the phone said that the most humane thing we could do was humanely euthanize the poor thing and end its suffering. Jen wrapped it in towels and put in a carrier to take it to the back and euthanize it. We thanked her graciously for even coming to LOOK at the skunk, as I know this is an abnormal situation. Her response was, "Of course I'd look at him/her. I do whatever I can to help because I don't like to see any being suffering,". This woman has a heart of GOLD and it's vet techs like HER that help restore my faith in humanity. She is not JUST there for a pay check. She genuinely CARES! This woman deserves a RAISE! Thank you sooooo much Jen for going out of your way to help this poor creature who would have been in agonizing pain for the last few hours of their life. Thank you for HAVING A HEART and coming out to ASSESS it when your colleague rudely turned us away. We appreciate all that you have done!

Dr. Chung is very honesty person and who truly love and care animals. I met her Pomy was 10 years old. My dog was already sick and old but Dr. Chung always recommend best way and great option for me and Pomy. Pomy had surgery and need check up every 6 month. Even the price is reasonable than any other vet. Pomy live with me after 4 years more and Dr. Chung was with me last day of my dog. I still miss my Pomy so much and I really appreciate to Dr. Chung what she did to my dog.

Dr. Paul and Dr. Matthew Walker are the most wonderful veterinarians. They are both empathetic, knowledgeable, and understanding. When our dog lost her eyesight due to S.A.R.D.S., I was devastated when Dr. Paul confirmed it, he brought in a chair for me to sit, and consoled me in my grief. He explained that many dogs survive for many years without their eyesight. Now, a year and a half later, she's a healthy happy dog, and they treat her like a queen.

Excellent clinic. Ignore the other review it is tucked away in the south west corner of the Plaza.

I had a great experience here, great staff, very clean clinic. They really take the time to explain if something is needed or not needed which I very much appreciated! I will definitely go back.

I have worked for a few veterinary clinics and I could tell you horror stories about some of the places I worked at. I have however worked for dr. Stevenson at this Clinic and I have to say that he is the best veterinarian I have worked with. He is never cruel, frustrated, or anxious. He always treats the animals with kindness and if they're fearful he goes slowly. He respects every single patient no matter their temperament. I highly recommend this vet to anyone who is considering it. I no longer work for this Clinic unfortunately but will continue to bring my pets there over any other Clinic. That's how highly I think of dr. Stevenson.

Our Westie-poo swallowed a sock and we needed immediate assistance. They took us right away and induced vomiting - problem solved. Dr. Mann was very personable, kind and compassionate. Would not hesitate to recommend her!

I have been going to this place for years and have had nothing but good experiences. Very friendly and caring staff. My cats were treating very well. I highly recommendd.
