First time buying a car and they don’t put gas in it. Dude handed me a $20 bill for a Ram 1500. Quoted me a price he couldn’t honor. Listed the car with remote start and navigation, had neither. Typical used car dealership.

Showed my son everything about the car before he drove off the lot. Chris was great with explaining the paperwork and financing process. They treated him like he was their own. Very professional.

I was recently in the market for an Infiniti FX50 but none were available in the Halifax area. I decided to expand my search and found the one I wanted at Janex Auto. The experience was outstanding from the very first phone call. I spoke with the salesman Jake, who described the vehicle in detail and we worked out a deal over the phone. I would pay the asking price and Janex would install new tires prior to my arrival. I flew out the next day, Janex picked me up and drove me to the dealership. Even though they were very busy with construction the entire purchase process was very straight forward. Unfortunately the tires had not arrived in time for my departure but both the manager and owner promised to have the tires sent to me in Halifax as soon as they arrived. As for the car, I couldn't be happier. I drove it from Ottawa to Halifax with one stopover in Quebec. It ran flawlessly and was surprisingly economical, for a V8. I would like to thank everyone at Janex for the great service and for being so professional and and for going the extra mile in making my purchase so smooth. Update: I thought that I should ad that the dealer came through with the brand new tires. They arrived a few days ago. It is really amazing dealing with a car dealer who is honest and professsional. I purchased a vehicle from Bayview in January 2018. Since I am from NW Ontario, at my request they held it for me for a month. I received a very positive experience from my first contact with them through to the point of driving off the lot in February. Both sales persons I contacted were welcoming and a joy to deal with. The car I purchased was pre-owned. I found a definite issue with it after my long trip home and sought repair from a local dealer. Bayview was made aware of the issue and my sales rep responded immediately. Bayview Auto did not hesitate to reimburse my cost for repair. This certainly speaks miles for Bayview Auto Sales. It made my trip from NW Ontario well worthwhile and I am very happy with my “new-to-me” car. I was extremely impressed with the service received from Bayview Auto sales representatives in making my purchase. Bayview will remain on my list should a future vehicle be required for myself and my family.
