Lovely place

I love Arthur Morrice in Beauchamp place. They have spectacular frames, whenever I need something that will have me topping the fashion stakes this is my go to place. Combined with friendly and professional staff that are always willing to go the extra mile. Thank you Arthur Morrice for making me look and feel great!!

Built to face anything

Quality frames (and lenses) at premium prices. With lenses, be prepared to pay north of £700.00 or much more. My last pair has lasted 2.5 years and counting. Service is hit or miss depending on who you get... one of the staff is very helpful and very friendly. The other staff member is aloof and not helpful at all. Regarding the exam, the optician is friendly, knowledgable and professional.

The owner is not honest. Today I received the tax refund. That’s only USD1.91 for a payment over GDP300 (USD495.09) on 5 August 2017. That’s why the lady at tax return at Heathrow reminded me that this store asked too much administration charge/commissions on the blue tax refund form.

Waited for my appointment for 2 weeks only to find out that it was scheduled for a different time than in my diary meaning that I missed it. No text messages, no phone calls confirming the appointment. I might be needing an eye check, but not a memory check.

Zero stars ( I couldn't post unless I selected one star). I am sorry to have to post my experience. I was recommended by a colleague. I wanted vari-focals/photochromic glasses. Had the eye test - great, then the trouble: I didn't want frames with non- adjustable nose-pads. (crooked broken nose - they never work on me). I was persuaded to ignore that(!). I first went there in October 2017 - have only just received my glasses in early February 2018. During that time I have had them re-make my lenses - which they only did after a "second opinion" consultation during which I was being "told" I was wrong. Their "test" was holding a page of "Hello" magazine up!! Ridiculous. I had to be quite forceful, but respectful, with my language to make them re-order the lenses. Outcome? I picked up the new glasses... they are really not much better. I cannot be bothered any more. Footnote: (1) Getting my written prescription from this place was very difficult. (2) getting my written invoice was even harder. A V O I D !!

Customer service are very rude! I always struggle to get my prescription and are constantly telling me that I need to get an eye test. Avoid
