At the same time, Boots is expanding its service contracts in the NHS. There is something not right about companies like Boots profiting from the NHS whilst contributing to the country’s public deficit through tax avoidance.

Staff in this store are very welcoming and friendly.

I called in at 5:30pm as they were already about to close with a very sore eye that was only getting worse and causing me alot of discomfort. The staff were so friendly and helpful and insisted that I didn't go away without having a check up even though this meant them staying late. I couldnt be more appreciative of the empathy, compassion and understanding they showed me. I will most definitely be back and i would highly recommend Pinder to anyone for the phenomenal service and going above and beyond when they could have simply said they didn't have any open appointments and for me to go to A&E (which was what I was told by 3 other reputable opticians in the same area who weren't actually closed yet). The optometrist Carly even booked an appointment for me with the hospital, gave me eye drops to settle the irritation and even looked up the train times to get there for my appointment time. I've never seen such excellent customer service before and they really couldn't have done a better job or made me feel more welcome or comfortable

I wonder who actually gave negative reviews to this place. Staff is attentive, professional, friendly, and very accurate! Extremely pleased with the optometrist I saw today, informative and professional. Great job! Will be back to get my glasses UPDATE: Went back when my eyes were a terrible mess and could barely keep them open due to discomfort. Was told the optician I had seen before wasn't in, and no one else would see me that day. Terrible service, so updating my review.
