Eyewear & Opticians

From now on I think this will be the only place I'll ever get glasses. I was quoted $150 to replace one lens from a place by my work. I called Sol Optix, where I got the glasses in the first place, and they quoted me $50. I went in and even bought a pair of prescription sunglasses. They don't try to up-sell, they let you make your own decisions, and have a selection that puts other stores to shame. Just the other day I was imagining a glasses store with tons more options than the usual stores, which seem to have limited selection to not overwhelm some buyers. This place has tons of cases with LOTS of frames! You can see different brands, styles, colours... it's exactly what I dreamed of but told myself no glasses store would do. After two times a success, they've won my trust. Thanks guys!

I put 2 reviews here yesterday- don't think they got posted. I got new glasses from Dan at the Bay Optical in Southcenter, Calgary, I had to bring them back twice because of issues with the lenses. Then after about 5 months, the right lens started to shatter along the top of the frame. Do not know yet if this will continue done into my sight. The Hudson Bay will not replace these garbage lenses. They must change the Lab they are using or they will have to close their optical because of the poor quality of these glasses. Staff was very rude and pushy. They didn't even assist with the issue I came in with. Avoid this location very poor customer service. Disappointing as I have had great experiences with the brand in the past.

Sol Optix has been taking care of me for years. I just picked up my newest pair and I can't be happier. They provide amazing service at very reasonable prices. I encourage all of my friends to let Sol Optix take care of their eyes too.

A standard Walmart experience. Store is clean and well stocked. Group of 6-7 employees in the aisle looked like preparation for some sort of sting operation. Creates a bit of curiosity when a group of this many employees seem to just hanging out.

Fantastic service and expertise. Highly recommend.

Customer since 2001. That says it all.

This place and its staff are amazing. I felt very comfortable. My time was respected, I didn't have to wait long and I didn't feel pressured to buy things I did not need. I was in and out and I would HIGHLY recommend you go here to take care of your eyes! Thanks for everything I had a great time!

Outstanding customer service. I am done with the chain places!

Good selection of frames.

Quality and great service
