Great to have apartment style rooms with kitchens and a tv in each room. Staff super helpful. Would stay there again!

I had an excellent stay at Alt Hotel St.John's. The room was clean and comfortable - once I figured out how to use the control panels for lighting and room temperature, that is. The gym is small but allowed for a quick workout. As this is a boutique hot, you can't expect a spa or swimming pool. Breakfast is provided but the options are very limited. The hotel is conveniently located downtown on Water street, just a few minutes away from George Street and maybe 10 minutes from city Hall and the convention center. The view on the bay is excellent and there are also parks nearby to relax. The staff was courteous and helpful at all times. Free wifi is now essential, bandwidth and speed were more than ok. All in all I recommend the hotel and will not hesitate to stay there again if and when I return to the city.

Place is kept in very nice shape. Owner is nice and easy to talk if you have any concerns or questions.

Nice place. The waitress was super friendly. Had a nice meal unfortunately it was rainy. Couldnt see much of the harbor

Cozy place

So close to downtown. A beautiful walk to historic monuments and St. Johns amazing history. Shopping is within walking distance. Love it

Great stay! Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, ans washroom was spotless. My flight was delayed so I checked in At 3 am and was greeted by a very friendly staff member. Breakfast was simple (fresh delicious muffins, boiled eggs, jams, coffee/tea). Location was every thing. Will definitely be staying at the same hotel next trip!

Large, very clean rooms. Good internet service which did not deteriorate significantly with the # of guests online. Decent breakfast spread to get a head start especially when strapped for time. Did not avail of the available facilities - business, fitness center, etc.

It was 50 below my truck broke down in the middle of the night and they took me in and gave me a room very good people there

Stayed in the new side it was nice and clean, close to a convenience store to the east and there is a restaurant / bar just 10 steps to the west. Right off the main drag
