Looking to be treated like a pauper regardless of your fiscal capabilities? Looking to spend 5 times as much money as you would almost anywhere else for the same color/cut/clarity/carat diamond? If you answered yes to the above, then the Harry Winston SF boutique is for you! In all seriousness, I understand why, in some circumstances, people pay more for designer jewlery for the unique aesthetic (e.g. the Cartier Love collection, Bvlgari Serpenti collection, etc.). However, with Harry Winston, you are paying for STONES. There is NOTHING they have to offer that isn’t carried by literally ANY other diamond/gemstone dealer. Plus, the sales associates (like Robert) are SNOBS that don’t even know the basics about diamonds such as fluorescence, pavilion angles, culets, facets, table %s, depth %s, etc.-let alone how they work together to create good symmetry and sparkle. My point: you can get a FAR superior stone for WAY less money sans the attitude and ignorance of Harry Winston’s SF employees and pseudo-gemologists almost anywhere else. Moreover, unless you are a starlet who is about to rent their stuff for the red carpet or a CEO of a Fortune 500 company, you will be treated horribly.

When they were on University Ave, I used to come almost weekly to look at the Oberon leather journals. Alice is very nice and friendly. Great store!

Went to visit my family at San Francisco and found this eye catching store. Everything went fine until the lady that was attending me became rude after me only wanting to purchase the pearl. She kept asking me to let her drill a hole on the pearl I got, I kept telling her no. This went on for 3 minutes and slowly she walked away and drilled a hole. I was extremely upset. After that she was in a way forcing me to buy a jewlery and I once again said no. Then she said " I know you have money" I replied "yes but I still need to buy souvenirs for my friends and family" she then said "no, spend money here who cares about them". She was very rude and this Defidently! Made me not want to go back. Costumers should be satisfied with the object they bought. Sadly I wasn't that satisfied costumer.

BAD, BAD, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE... Avoid the manager Michael VALENTI. This man should be working at Burger King not Hermes. How he got hired is shocking!

My engagement ring turned out beautifully. My experience making my online order went well. After some confusion with a complimentary pair of diamond earrings, all has been rectified and promptly! All of the representatives with the company have been helpful, knowledgeable and caring!
