I am sure like anyone that is a pet owner I feel my two dogs are my own kids and I was hesitant to leave them with just anyone. Pooch erased all my doubts. They were sincerely caring and very passionate about the well being of Stanley and Betty (my canine kids). I have used their services many times now and my dogs actually get all excited when they are babysat by our Pooch Sitter. For the past two months they have been walked twice a week by them and I can see how organized and well cared they are. I will be using all their services regularly and I have full confidence in recommending Pooch to all my friends.

I have also put in an application and emailed. Never heard back from them. Really disappointing. I would appreciate if the website would post whether an application is pending so we are aware that the dog is being looked at by somebody else.

Great variety for raw feeding, and very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend if you are looking into feeding raw.

We are truly devastated at the state in which our 7 year old, 5 pound, well maintained, long-haired, traditional-style Yorkshire terrier was left. The groomer Macy, after extremely clear + specific instructions that included to trim and NOT shave her body, and to only trim her long ponytail, completely butchered the groom. We asked that if the dog started to panic, to stop + let us know/bring her to the door and we would calm her. Macey proceeded to SHAVE OFF HER PONYTAIL & SHAVE HER BODY - then blamed the dog for her action, as the dog was “breathing heavy / had her own hair in her mouth” - We still do not understand the excuse. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR HER NEGLIGENCE. She blatantly disregard our requests. “Sorry” cannot help the situation or put the hair back on our dog’s head that took 7 YEARS to grow out & maintain. Our dog is now visibly uncomfortable and distressed. We are embarrassed for her. She is unrecognizable. We cannot put into words how upset we are :(

Best pet food!

We have been taking our two Schnauzers here for years. Love the place and people. Our Pups are older and A Dogs Best Friend takes great care with them and all their concerns due to their age. I Highly recommend to everyone. I have taken our pups in when they are matted and hair is too long.. They have had to be shaven because of US not because of the Salon. This is something that as a dog owner is our responsibility to take care of them. People should realize that you must treat your pets as you would yourself. A Dog's best friend does just that. They are the best... :)

Took our dog in on a very short notice the day after he got sprayed by a skunk! Very fair pricing and kind, wonderful staff. Definitely going to take our dog here from now on

Friendly, attentive, and accommodating. My 10 yr old Brittany came home spent and happy after a 2 night board.

I had my dog groomed here and she was the happiest she's ever been when I picked her up! She was spoiled rotten there and the girls just loved her!!! I will be returning with Sasha in .the future for sure !

Pooches N' Pals is my favourite salon. One of the things that stands out for me is the professionalism, attentiveness and friendliness of the staff here. They are also very accommodating with requests and I like the open concept layout of the salon. My cocker spaniel mix has been groomed by Tanya, Mel and Adriana and they are all excellent! Highly recommend!

Staff have always been kind and knowledgeable here. They carry some items that other pet stores might not have. My brother brings his dog here for grooming. Overall it is a good store

My partner and I were apprehensive of leaving our two cats with a stranger. When we got back home it was obvious they were extremely well taken care of. We’d highly recommend Lauren’s services to anyone!

This was a difficult review to write because no words could express the happiness and gratitude I have toward Megaen and Paws Away. In July my cat came down with an unexpected illness that put him on medication for three weeks. My husband and I had planned a week vacation for October so we thought that all would be well for when we would leave. Well needless to say, our handsome little man needed to be put on more medication witch left him with a bad case of diarrhea and a special diet of wet and dry food. With his medication, he needed to be fed every 12 hours and be given certain medication at certain times. By this point it was the beginning of October and we felt as though we were out of options. Our original plan was to have him boarded but we know how stressed out he gets and we didn’t want to put him through that on top of his illness. We were thinking that we would have to cancel our trip, but luckily a friend was able to drop by and look after him, but only until the Friday before we were supposed to come back. So we were still stuck. That’s when I contacted Megaen at Paws Away; I explained our situation, all of our concerns and asked if it was possible to make this work. We were so pleased when she said yes! We gave her the keys and a list of instructions for what needed to be done. Being the worried parents that we are, we texted her everyday that weekend to ask how Boots was doing. We got messages telling us that he was fine and purring away. When we got back on Sunday night our house smelled wonderful, the litter box was clean and all the medication and food was handled well. Boots was excited to see us and not nearly as stressed as he would have been had we left him at a boarding facility. Megaen and Paws Away as a whole know what they are doing, are fantastic with animals and most importantly; you can trust them. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
