What can I say other than from start to finish it has been effortless to rent a car through HiyaCar. The app was easy to use, I got the car I asked for and it was clean!!! The owner of the car was great too and ran through everything that I needed to know, I will m certainly be back again and again.

Easirent, no. Hard-rent, maybe. Wanttoshootyourselfinthehead-rent, yes. Agree with other reviewers -> do not be tempted by the cheap prices. People arrive happy and leave miserable. We left miserable with no car and no money back. They make is so complicated to hire that we weren't eligible after already paying and no refund. In the end we had to go through a credit check (and pay extra for this), and despite our healthy incomes and never having missed a bill or rent in our lives, we failed their dodgy credit check. FYI you will also have to pay the congestion charge when you collect and drop off (£11.50 each time) - they do no absorb this and so you are not actually even saving money!

Have used AVIS before and their sister Budget. Always good service (probably 4*) but this branch at victoria don’t tell you about the congestion charge. Ok, I should of know. Probably should have looked into the paperwork more closely too as AVIS will charge you an admin fee of £30 to do the honers of debiting your card for the £80 Tfl charge. I’m sure there is a better way for the consumer for this to be handled but for now. They don’t tell you or remind you, there is no poster on the wall. You just have to know to pay the charge yourself. Car was fine, friendly returns guy

Be very careful if renting from Hertz. Upon returning our rental we were charged an additional £100 for “scratches on the tire”. The car was not damaged and in the exact same condition as we rented in. This was obviously a scam charge to get as much money from us as possible- we would never of though to throughly inspect black tires before leaving the garage nor should we have to.. We later received an additional letter that they had charged our card (without notifying us) an additional £50 for “admin fees related to the accident”. After searching the web it appears that multiple people have experienced similar situations. I’d reccomend not renting from them even if they seem like the cheapest option. We may pursue legal action as this is about the principal, not necessarily the money.

Great team at Sixt Victoria, always use this place when I need a car, staff are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend a visit if looking for a car rental in central. It can be a little tricky to find, it's located in the Victoria station car park

Deserves negative stars. Awful. Peopled by one of those people who use the tiny little bit of power they have to make others miserable. Arrogant nitwit who insisted on a translation for our (English language) Hong Kong license and insisted that it was policy introduced this year. When we told him that we had successfully rented 2 cars from the Hertz airport this year, he told us that this was a policy limited to Central London to “curb terrorism”. As if terrorists are limited to picking up cars only within a few miles of their target. When I challenged him on this absurd policy, he replied that he could “easily cancel the reservation if he felt like it”. He should be sacked. The car itself was filthy and looked like it had last been washed when Margaret Thatcher was PM. Only bright spot: the Italian attendant who was very friendly — and apologetic on his posterior wipe colleague’s part.

They handled everything from delivery to pick up, smooth efficient service, great communication, great price. Would fully recommend them.
