God place to rent. The service is great.

For the location, good.

By far the Best customer service and rental policies I’ve experienced in Montreal. There are other rental agencies much closer to me, but I always try to rent from here as it’s always a better experience.

We booked a smaller car through Check24, but without being asked or asking for it, we got an SUV because they gave out all the cars in our size already. We only saw that after signing the contract and seeing the car outside waiting for us. Later I saw that they charged me more money than I booked the car for and asked for a refund of the money. I was told that I booked an upgrade and they won't refund me. Ridiculous, given that I didn't even want such a big car and didn't even got to see the car before I signed, but they said because I signed the contract I booked the upgrade . Never again.

Beacon is my home base for upstate rentals and the team there is always so helpful supportive friendly and will do their best to get me the best value. Last time I rented they went above and beyond, Rob, the manager, saw I was sweating it with reaching my train in time, and had Parker, the new rockstar hire, drive me to the train and finish up paper work later, I literally was hopping up the stairs when my train came. If I missed it, I would've missed a vital doctor's appt that takes months to get, that's what going the extra mile looks like in my book. They embody customer service where people are treated with value, and not as a commodity. I travel for work as well as pleasure, and do my best to use only Enterprise. Thanks Team Beacon. Lois Barth

Very satisfied, highly recommended. I had no waiting time; although there were one guy ahead of me. The staff were very polite, quick and responsible. Certainly I would rent from here again :)

Gave this place 3 chances to make up for the bad experience. 1st time: flat tire- had to return to change car. 2nd time: reserved car a month before the long weekend, upon arrival, car wasnt available for myself and other customers, ruined all plans and reservations made. 3rd time: transmission failure abroad, didnt accept changing my car in Toronto 's branch, told me to try to make it back with 3rd gear max, rpm at 6-7 , 1st gear jumps car in a bizarre way, gears between 1-3 randomly go up and down, car temperature goes up so you need to take breaks on the highway every now and then. After arriving, i explain the whole situation again and that it wasnt acceptable, manager said she would check the car and give me a call back and doenst call, but made sure to charge me the km's i exceeded.(250km allowed only) My 7 hours drive back was such an unpleasant trip for my friends and I.

It's hella fast

had to wait 20 minutes after completing contract for the keys to be delivered, they charge you 6.95 for parking, gas tank was half filled. received a call several days later for an apology. staff were helpful.

Update: a few days afterwards, the manager reached out and offered a token of compensation for the previous experience. Despite the rental not going as planned originally, it seems they make a good effort to win back the confidence of customers and make up for the shortcomings. I wanted to rent a mini cooper for the weekend. When i got to this location, i realized nobody actually works on site. I'm sure it goes smoothly most of the time. For me, getting the reservation confirmed with the video chat was uneventful, however when it got to the part of actually getting keys, the kiosk downstairs in the parking lot never actually gave me any keys. After an hour of phone calls, being transferred, waiting on hold while managers are being reached, i was told they don't know whats wrong and offered a different car in the same class. The only reason i rented from globe in the first place was to rent a mini cooper specifically. Waste of time, if i rent from globe again it will be from the locations that have agents on site. The only good thing i can say is that cancelling my reservation at that point was done without a hitch.
