Eyewear & Opticians

Great business for custom fiber optics. If you can imagine it, they can make it happen.

Jim is fantastic. I have been going to Laurentian Optical for years. Wouldn't trust anyone else to handle my prescription glasses.

I wish there was an option to give 0 stars to this place. I have been a regular customer since 4 years now but today was the last day I stepped into this place. I placed an order September 9, till today I have not received the product. After countless follow ups, I was provided a written guarantee to pick up today and still I didn’t receive it. After being frustrated I asked my money to be refunded- I talked to the owner who is most arrogant business person (McLaughlin and Raylawson) location said- Do whatever you can- go to legal route, business bureau or social media, yelled to his customers. I am surprised by such conduct from business people. Please avoid going here as there are many opticians who respect their customers and value their time.

Respectful and professional staff

Wide collection of frames and glasses and the service is great. I currently own two pairs of glasses from this store and looking forward to buying more in the future.

Best service ever. Very efficient, knowledgable and friendly staff. Been their customer for ever.

they have always been kind and never pushed or hovered over me like vultures which tends to happen a lot these days at other optometrist. economy i guess. it was kind of weird actually, they worked at zellers before and when zellers closed down i thought i would have to look else where, then this new place opened up and i thought to myself "i'll check it out" ... i step into the store and the lady behind the counter called me by name! it took me off guard as i didn't recognize her at first but i was happy to see them still in business. had to update my prescription this week, not only did the lady recognize me despite not going there for 5-6 years but it was funny to hand in my frames because i bought them when they worked at zellers ... i'm just so picky and haven't found new ones i liked XD going to have to go there more often to see any new stock they get ... my poor old frames are showing there age.

Great glasses

They have very good price and Frank is attentive person.

The best kept secret optical store in Richmond Hill! Amazing selection of designer frames and sunglasses at very affordable prices! They also have optometrist available for an eye exams and direct bill insurance if you have medical benefits through work!

I've been going to Patrick for about 10 years and his customer service is great. He always takes the time to help me find great frames.. He also went well beyond my expectations helping me figure out the type of lenses I need based on the work I do. I am writing this because yesterday he fixed some frames I damaged and now they are like new. I'll be back to see him with my family for our new glasses this summer. Support independent businesses with owners who care like Patrick and you will never go wrong.

Dr. Kara is absolutely amazing. Nothing but kind and professional, she makes you feel like you’re at home and part of the family. She makes her job seem effortless and results are always precise. Your eyes are important and if you want them to be taken care of in a professional and helpful environment I definitely recommend Dr. Kara!
