Great store with terrific staff. Cynthia came to measure and talked me through various options for the luxury vinyl tile. Installation crew showed up on time and was completely done in half a day. I would highly recommend these professionals.

AVOID! We called in to get a sales agent to demo carpets, and after practically barging into our house without even saying his name, he rudely asked up-front about how we were going to pay. After finally getting his name, he demo'd a few carpet types for us, and half way through showing us some we were interested in, he aggressively said "This is done. I'm not getting the sale I want out of you. You can report me if you want, I don't care." and walked out the door.
They are VERY clearly predatory and unreliable if they don't even want to continue with a presentation if they can't immediately get a high dollar, scammy sale.

The finished floors were absolutely beautiful. The room they did had a lot of odd angles, and everything fit quite well. They were prompt and courteous, and were very careful about our cat not getting out. They provided a lot of help and advice on letting the fumes out. It was a father/son business with obvious craftmanship, and not one guy with a crew of dubious day laborers and non-English speakers. Two thumbs up on quality, service, and price.

We worked with Justin Jones last year and when my mother-in-law wanted to replace carpet with hardwood we contacted Justin again. He worked with her and changed the quote several times until she decided what she wanted. He was very patient. She ordered hardwood for the living room and hall and carpet work for 2 bedrooms. The flooring was ordered and installed within 3 weeks. She is very happy with her choices. The workers that did the install did a wonderful job. Two different teams... one team for hardwood and a different team for carpet. She had an excellent experience with Justin and everyone at Flooring by Design.

John and Chris were great helping me get my hardwood floors in! Honest, friendly, and quick to respond, describes how they take care of customers. Not to mention my floors look great and the price beat four other estimates!! I would definitely use them again.

I just needed some screws but they were not on the shelf. An employee named Bryant went to look and got on the ladder and help us locate them. Very helpful.
Surplus Warehouse

As a professional, we use Surplus Warehouse for certain items. The selection isn’t huge but that’s how they keep their prices low. We come here to buy some of our interior doors, sometimes flooring and accessories, some plumbing items, and cabinets with hardware when it works out. Specifically not a big fan of their window selection.

We drove here from Greensboro after a designer friend made the recommendation. It was well worth the trip. We discovered so many beautiful options for our bathroom remodel that we had not seen in our area. Unlike a couple of the showrooms we had visited in Greensboro, the designer was extremely knowledgeable and patient during the selection process. We will be returning soon to select our kitchen tile.
