Flooring

We went in looking for some flooring and a man by the name of Will. Will was very knowledgeable and knows the business well. We will be back as soon as we had the correct measurements. Great customer service

Great place to get your floors done lots of product instock an great service

We had 5 different companies come to give an estimate for refinishing our hardwood floors. Lifetime was the only company who knew how to get rid of most of the squeaks. Plus, they have a special material that they use for refinishing the floors that is different and better than all of the other companies. The owner is part of the crew, unlike most companies who sub the work out. Our floors look beautiful. Highly recommend!

I have worked with Erickson's for years. Product as well as service is the best around. I have many choices and still choose Erickson's for all of my wood floor materials and supplies.

Wonderful experience from selection to installation .

Best service and prices, Very professional. Huge stock to choose from.they were 40% cheaper than Home depot

Eric Shapiro and the crew were great. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, and quick! The work was high quality and at a great price. Have used them a few times and will continue to use them for future projects.

READ THIS WHOLE REVIEW TRUST ME IT'S WORTH YOUR TIME: Walked in who I know as Cass now was with another customer still got greeted immediately. Not even 5 minutes later he came over to help me even with that other customer still being there. Showed him an estimate I got from home depot on some carpet I did not have much of a budget he not only matched the price but he beat it by hundreds of dollars! Got higher end/better carpet too. Cass was able to give me a rough estimate with out me even having the exact measurements. That "rough estimate" ended up being spot on! He made the process so fast & easy for me I did not have to do anything. Cass is very professional, helpful, & honest. He called me numerous times telling me exactly what was going on & gave me free financing without interest for 12 months. Had carpet put in 2 bedrooms & on basement stairs (btw). The carpenters that came were very kind & professional too. This is not my first excellent experience with Art Van in general they work with every kind of consumer rich poor does not matter & they treat them all the same exact way! I had a very similar experience at Mattress World which is now Pure Sleep right next door to them about 2-3 years back. I purchased a mattress & box spring from mattress world & did not choose to have them shipped because I lived in warren village apartments which is right behind these two business's. When I went to go get them it was raining really bad & they were a lot heavier then I anticipated. I came with my cousin but we were unable to carry them to my apt. The man at the desk said they would have to be technically "shipped" which would be a cost since we were unable to carry them/pick them up as planned. Over hearing our dilemma a young manager/CEO in a suit came over to me and offered to carry my queen size mattress & box spring in the rain all the way to my apt! I thought he was joking we were all in shock including the man at the desk. We could not believe it!!! For the life of me I can not remember this mans name & until this day I regret not going back & getting his information so I could of properly thanked him (hoping he will see this review somehow & remember me). Anyways, he carried them both one by one in the rain by himself all the way to my apt. Thanks to him I had a bed to sleep on that night & I did not have to go try to find someone as I had NO ONE. He is a manager/CEO of a huge company wearing a nice suit at that location just for that day for whatever job reason & he did that for me? When he really DID NOT have to! Wow! What a humble heart makes you want to be a better person. He was my guardian angel that day I will never forget him. Art van is lucky to have him. If your reading this and remember me THANK YOU SO MUCH. Will be buying all my new furniture for my new home from them & I need everything! cant wait! =) All in All NOT GOING TO ARTVAN IN GENERAL IS A MISTAKE! & if you really want service go to the 14 mile between van dyke & mound locations trust me!

Great floor place. Amazing work

Prices are high compared to other tile and flooring places in the city

Xlnt selections for some equipment I needed. Great place

Got cut off by one of their vans in Allen Park and they proceeded to drive by and give us the finger while my 8 year old daughter was in the car. Very unprofessional. Should probably get some new employees that don't make a company look so tacky and unprofessional.

Rude, not customer focused in the slightest.

Unfortunately we have had bad customer service. We purchased a new home last April and ordered new carpet throughout the home. Dealing with Tommy was great for the initial order, however the install was unsatisfactory. Since the carpet was installed we have repeatedly called and asked for the installers to come back and fix the poor job. Pictures are below. Carpet looks like it’s coming up in areas and the seam is not sealed. Each time Tommy stated he would get someone to come out and now nearly 10 months later still nothing. That is unacceptable and unfortunately we have had a lot of people ask us about our carpet and although the price was great, the contractors hired are not. We do not recommend this company. So disappointed.

We had our livingroom done and I couldn't be happier with the service and price. Excellent customer service and professionalism. Highly recommend.
