Hotel/Motel

We rented a suite for our family while they were visiting for our wedding. There were 4 adults in a 2 bedroom suite. The suite was spacious and comfortable. It was amazing to have someplace where my family could retreat at the end of the day. They even hosted us for breakfast and lunch a few times! The suite was fully equipped and large enough that everyone had their privacy. A typical hotel room never would have been this comfortable for them. It was quiet and extremely well located, close to shops and of course, close to our home. I don't think I will ever have guests stay with us again, now that I know about the Mckellar Park Suites. I highly recommend them.

Good people there

You get more than you pay for. They really do try, and the beds were even more comfortable than some fancy places I've been.

Charming hotel decorated in a Victorian theme!! Nice pool.. very good food in the restaurant. 2 miles to Henry Ford with free shuttle service. Everyone was very nice, hotel was very clean. Would stay here again!

Easy access to high way off and on. Room we stayed in was large and nice, not sure about service, never had to deal with service. Overall good experience.

Horrible broken glass on bed crackhead in all rooms

The room was really nice and the view was amazing! Breakfast was delicious and the staff were nice and friendly. However, we had asked for extra pillows and towels because there were a few of us staying and that wasn't accomplished. We were also charged a lot more than was posted.

Small. Dirty and horrible. Boxspring was on the ground. Blanket was holey.

It was really great! Super clean, beautiful house, the bathroom is awesome too. We highly reccomand it!!

Very friendly front desk staff. Answered all of my questions and made me feel welcome. Accommodated early check in free of charge. I enjoyed the free breakfast as muffins and cereal are my 2 favourite breakfast items. I needed a quiet space with fresh air and it was perfect. Wifi was great. Room was clean and comfortable. I found the pillows were the perfect size (not too thick). I got the rest I needed. Great stay!

My friend had a fire and lost his house. He is staying there not by choice. It seems ok but kinda shady

Update 6/26: Manager apologized for his staff screwing up our reservation and putting us in a room that was supposed to be being prepped for renovation. He moved us into a MUCH nicer, updated room inside. Still not the Ritz, but definitely liveable and clean. *** 6/25 -This place is so run down! The floor in the bathroom feels like it might give way any moment. I am beyond disappointed! I didn't expect the Ritz-Carlton, but I sure expected more than this!

Stopped here last minute during a recent motorcycle trip. Rate was reasonable and owners were very friendly. Building is dated but everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. Better than you could expect for the low price.

This was a GREAT experience. This is a true Bed and Breakfast that is clean, welcoming and quiet. People who talk about little petty stuff do not realize that this is a Bed and Breakfast with great prices and if they want the bath robes and spa experience then they need to book the Hotels or Motels or Inns that charge the high prices. The rooms upstairs were extreamly spacious and bright and for only a little more cost. My experience with the Host was both enjoyable and helpful and the few negative reviews are not worth reading. I would definatly return to this Bed and Breakfast.

A little dated but very comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful, the continental breakfast was the usual cereals coffee juice toast and fruit, which was all we needed to start the day. Location was very good, close to the city centre but not in the heart of it. It was very easy to get where we wanted. My kids went to the pool and enjoyed the hot tub they are 19 and 13, so they didn't bother with the wave pool and slide.

Lovely room & people. Clean & very well maintained! Loved it!
