Terrible place to stay! Go somewhere else, no chains on door, had to get a heater and blankets from the manager from the room being so cold and drafty. People on the streets have better blankets than they gave us - ripped and holes! Then had to leave a $50 deposit for it! Really? Like we were going to break their crappy heater just so we could get cold again. Never had a chance to try the restaurant out front but have heard from locals that it's an excellent place to eat.

We arrived and the bathroom sink was plugged, the air conditioning rattles like crazy and dripped all night. The manager came down and accused me of turning it down, which I never touched and accused me of shaving in the sink my hair is brown/grey, wifes hair is blonde and the drain was plugged with long black hair. Middle of the night the fire/smoke detector beeps and he said they have power surges, the detectors should not turn off if hydro goes off. I was accused of causing these problems in the room and was offered no reduction in the cost of our sleepless night. I will for your safety from fire or smoke reccomend you do not book a room at this place. I will be contacting the local fire department to look into why the smoke detectors shut off during a power outage. Will definitely be staying somewhere else next time I'm in the area.

Stayed 7 days liked that the breakfast has alot of options and the friendly staff. Rooms were clean and in good shape. Very busy so book ahead.

Thank you to the staff for our perfect beach wedding. Everybody was extremely pleasant and helpful, the food was fantastic and the beach houses ...superb! All our family and guess were extremely impressed. We want to come back every year for our anniversary.

Owner was very friendly and helpful! We were grateful to find a motel room where we could smoke! Personally I didn't mind that the bedding or sheets didn't match! At least they were clean! Thanks for your hospitality

First class hospitality, excellent food with the on site restaurant, a stone throw away to Beautiful Mary Lake in the heart of Muskoka. Highly recommend & will definitely stay here again with the Family. Jim treats you like an old friend and clearly takes an enormous amount of pride in what he does! 5 out of 5 hands down!! Thank you Jim! ☺

Staying at the Sommerville Hotel was great! My fianceé and I really liked the decor. The breakfast club was amazing and Brenda is super nice and attentive. The motel is about two minutes away from a few restaurants and a 24-hour convenience store. The only super minor issue I has is that our room door didn't actually close securely. Not that big of a deal but I can see how some people would be turned off by that experience. I would recommend staying here if you're in the area.

Great modern rooms with art for sale, super quiet . Sabrina is the most amazing host and will do anything to accommodate your needs . The property is a work in progress and is pet friendly. Must try ,close to town and most anything that you would like to do on holiday.

We enjoyed our one night stay as we were visiting family close by. The breakfast buffet was so convenient with many choices of a variety of hot and cold food. The king bed was very comfortable. Even though the Best Western is close to the 401, the room was very quiet..

Great little spot to just get away and get it in with your wife girlfriend or even someone else's wife or gf if that's your thing..
