I deal with the selling of jewellery, and for the past 1-1/2 years I have been able to count on Valdi's for expert service. I send many customers to him because I know that they will leave there satisfied. Even when the store has closed, he will still unlock the door to assist. Great service!

I came here with my fiancé to pick out an engagement ring. Started with a basic idea of what I wanted. Rather than agree to it (a pearl) and get more money out of me when I would need it replaced every 5 years from chipping and wearing, they helped steer me away, though didn't refuse to do it. Since I was back to the beginning they helped me the whole way through looking at different stones, patterns, metals. Not once did I feel rushed or upsold or pressured. Once we had it planned out they sent in the ordered and called once they got confirmation. 4 weeks later it arrived, even better than I could imagine and at a price even more reasonable than I could imagine. I recommend this store to anyone and everyone. I will be back again in the future for any other custom jewellery needs.

Excellent. Low over head and honest. I was considering purchasing a “white sapphire ring” on kijiji, however I do not know enough about white sapphires to buy with confidence so I asked Paul for his expertise. The seller and I met at Paul’s, he told me right away it was not a sapphire but a CZ. Additionally I read the appraisal which said the ring was CZ and gold. I never would have bought the ring because it was a CZ not a white sapphire like advertised, but I’m glad I had Paul verify what I already knew. The kijiji seller was a scammer and sad that they got caught, or maybe the seller thinks a white sapphires and CZ are they same thing! They are aren’t! I offered the kijiji seller what I thought the ring was worth in gold $100. I hope she doesn’t scam anyone, but it won’t be me thanks of Paul. Highly recommend! My jeweller recently retired and I am so happy I met Paul. If this story sounds familiar it should, its the other side of the story. Look at most of the reviews all five stars that should say something about Paul, and that review of one star while that says something about the reviewer.

I am sitting here staring at my new ring and loving everything about it. David’s design captured exactly what I wanted the ring to be like. His creativity is exceptional and his workmanship is impeccable. After my Mother passed away I never wore her ring because I didn’t like the design. David used the diamonds from her ring in his new design. It makes me so happy to have a ring made from hers that I will always love to wear.

Great store with a good brand selection of items. Salesman I dealt with was personable and fun and made the buying experience a pleasure. What more can I say.

I purchased something from the store, then I got home and decided I did not like the item I purchased and went to look at my bill and it is no returns only exchanges for 7 days after purchased :(

I had been a customer of Birks in Oakville place for years. Don't get me wrong, I didn't spend thousands and thousands, but I did purchase quite a few birthday, Christmas, and anniversary gifts over the years, as well as multiple jewelry repairs, ring sizing, and watch battery replacement. Since the move to Mapleview, I've had very different service. I tried to get a few rings sized and a new battery for my watch (a tissot) and from the moment I walked in, the rings quality were questioned, and I was told the stone in the one ring (a sapphire) wasn't a sapphire, meanwhile I have the appraisal papers saying that it is. Then the salesperson implied the watch wasn't bought at Birks, and when I said it was (not knowing why that mattered..) she looked shocked and disbelieving. I've never had any issues like this before. The rings were high quality, although not purchased there but overseas, and of course I wouldn't have expected that attitude with regards to a watch purchased through that company. My rings and watch were sent away for over 6 weeks, and when I got the call to say my things were ready to be picked up, the rings weren't done, just the battery replacement (6 weeks? Really?) so I took the rings to People's jewellers for sizing and received no attitude or issues, and they were shocked to hear the story about my experience at this store. I will NEVER go back and spend another dime at Birks, and I'll be sure to tell of of my Oakville clients to take their business elsewhere as well.

My thanks to Christy at Pandora-Mapleview for her courtesy and good customer service. She was very professional, doing her best to help solve an exchange issue. When first entering the store, I spoke with one sales associate who immediately said there was nothing that she could do...the end. (I will omit her name, as her supervisor was made aware of her dismissive attitude.) Left standing there, Christy came over a moment later to help. She was polite and friendly, and solved things quickly and with ease! A second concern was also addressed, and I appreciate how Christy took the time, trying in earnest to find a solution. She is to be commended for doing her best to ensure a satisfied customer was leaving the store. It should also be mentioned that in recent months, I've had good shopping experiences with Emily and Maddie, and in the past, Elsie. When I return to the Pandora store at Mapleview, hopefully Christy or one of the sales reps mentioned will be able to assist. With thanks.

Brought a ring in to be sized. When I brought it home, a stone fell out. Called to see what, if anything could be done. The manager immediately spoke to me like I was an idiot. Obviously will never go there again, and definitely won't recommend them to anyone else.

Had very disappointing customer service at this location - the older women who work at the store were dismissive of me and not very helpful when it came to finding the item at another store.
