I have studied in a few different schools, under various techers, but none has ever come close to sifu! The class here is real friendly, and really a great training and learning environment. I love it here!

I started taking WingTsun Kung Fu classes from WingTsun Toronto many years ago and after a long break was able to return as an active student. I was welcomed back openly and after a short time of recapping concepts and movements I was able to continue my progression of this wonderful martial art form.
As an instructor Sifu Asad Mir is excellent at breaking down concepts into manageable sets and helping students progress through the different forms. Focus is spent not just on the “how” but also the “why” of the movements, and not just in theory but in practice as well. Every class you take brings deeper insight into WingTsun methodology.
Emphasizing speed over strength with a hefty side of physics means the more relaxed you are the better you will perform. I suggest anyone interested in studying a martial art give WingTsun a try at WingTsun Toronto.

I joined InnerCity MMA in early 2016, I now have 1 year and I now more confident than ever about my decision to join. I am usually the overly careful type about what I want to commit and I did explore at first a few other gyms before I decided to stay at ICMMA, you too would see what sets this dojo apart, the environment has this cozy feel, and this is not because of the size of the physical space, but because of the amical space that is created thanks to the vast experience of Prof. Shah and Tushara. The experience really does show and proves Prof. Shah as the grandfather of MMA in Ontario as a known coach of a number of fighters and athletes, which you can clearly see as classes in are ran with full of smiles while you are almost inevitably getting an excellent workout. The atmosphere is largely of respect for one another, a core tenet of martial arts, there you get a sense of camaraderie and as a newbie I felt I was helped not just by the Professor, but by higher belts. In short, you are lucky to come across this gym. The dojo now offers classes for children, if you ever witness a class by the dojo’s Happy Children stream of classes you will see nothing but a basket full of non-stop laughing, which is very much at par with the fun the adult classes also enjoy.
Happy Kids Martial Arts

My daughter has been here since she was seven, and I've seen her confidence in moving and challenging herself go through the roof. Every class is energetic and positive! The kids get a variety of self-defence, coordination, and focus-related skills. There are exercises and goals for each student, as well as the whole group working together. The self-esteem and practical physical skills my daughter gets from hands-on martial arts carries over to everything she does.
Bamboo Kung Fu - downtown

Bamboo Kung Fu is a great school for both beginners and experienced martial artists to learn authentic Chinese Kung Fu. Sifu Kin Sze is a great instructor who focuses on techniques and physical conditioning to improve students skills; as well as helping students understand how all the techniques and skills should work and flow together to understand their application.

One of the best decisions I've ever made was to join Elite Martial Arts. I feel much more physically stronger, faster, and healthier, and over all more confident, especially in my ability to defend myself.
The belt tests are some of the hardest, yet most rewarding things I've ever done. The instructors are welcoming, experienced and extremely knowledgeable, but most importantly they're great teachers who connect on a personal level. They've built a great community here, and I will always recommend them to anyone thinking of becoming the best version of their self.
