Great service, friendly staff

Total scam artists. I should've read these reviews beforehand (the fact they have a 1.9 rating says a lot). I called Budget at Thunder Bay Airport two weeks ago to ask about snow tires, so I could book a car for a family member arriving at the airport a few weeks later. I spoke to Art who told me he would put a note about snow tires. He NEVER mentioned that there was an extra charge for this of about $20/day. My sister-in-law picked up the car and upon dropping it off they more than doubled the price (it was supposed to be $88 and they charged $222). I spoke to Art who told me he remembers telling me about the charge on the phone (he definitely did not) and that it's my sister-in-laws fault for signing the document when she picked it up. I then called another number to complain and they also blamed us. Very disappointing, will certainly not be back. This is my first negative review of any company so that says a lot about my level of frustration with Budget.
