Great experience renting a car from them while in Montreal! They were understaffed in the lot due to employees being sick. The one thing was that I was told that if I wanted a vehicle with winter tires that it would cost an extra $60 a day!! I declined of course as I am an experienced off-road driver and didn't require them! 😉😆

Easy, but note that you'll need to call them and arrange pickup at airport.

Pretty much all rent-a-car companies are same but Alamo is probably better than others in terms of front desk service. Nice and quick.

I've rented from this company many times in the past and have a corporate account with them as well. I picked up a truck from the airport location in montreal but this time the agent was beyond aggressive and confrontational. He threatened to cancel my reservation because I declined the "optional" insurance! He demanded I prove I have personal car insurance to rent the pick up. His manager, who was standing next to him, finally stepped in and said we only need your driver licenses and credit card. Unfortunately he then made the experience worst by saying if you total the truck we will sue you. I completely understand that I am liable but there are better ways to pass the message to a client especially coming from someone who is supposed to be a manager. I told them about their customer service and they invited me to take my business elsewhere!!! I would have if I wasn't picking up the truck past 11pm. Their lack of respect and customer service completely ruined the relationship I had with this company.

The company canceled our booking, which we made a month in advance, without ever letting us know it has been cancelled. So we arrived at our destination to pick up the car only to find out they had no cars left for us and instead had to pick a vehicle that was $400 more than my original booking price. the only reason this company didn't get one star is that the on-site staff redeemed the company with the great way they were willing to work with us during this horrible inconvenience. Edit: after contacting the company upon our return from our vacation, the company agreed that we deserved a rebate for our experience. As such they honored the original agreement we had made. My opinion of this company has greatly improved because of this. still disappointed we had problems, but really happy the company made it up to us.

The car was not clean, but mechanically fine. Customer Service is truly abysmal. I think I waited longer in the preferred line than I would have in the regular line. Staff are brusque at best. Polite and pleasant service is unknown here.

National continues to be not just the best car rental company for customer experience, but up their with the best for any industry. Such a seamless, convenient, customer centric business model. My one annoyance with this particular trip was it snowed while I was there and there was no snow brush / scraper in the car.

Worst experience, hidden fees, condescending service, ...stick with Thrifty or Enterprise

Great service, I came from out of town for the week and got a great deal and service. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. I drove around town in a great luxury vehicle and felt an amazing experience.

This rental car company is ripping people off. Too bad that I didn't read reviews about this place. Upon arrival to this rental car location, the operator ignored all documents proven that I don't have to buy car insurance .He said I needed to buy a 1 million liability insurance from him. I had no choice but I forced into buying insurance .Please stay away from this rental car company. I have learned my lesson. This place doesn't deserve a 1 star review

These guys are amazing! Always goes above and beyond. I am a regular customer of Enterprise and have been since I was 18 years old. One of the only companies that would work with me and not rip me off. I actually have quote the amazing story with this company and this location represents them very well. Thanks for the upgrade, the ride to the airport and everything!

Was afraid due to some negative reviews I had read about long lines and waits at this rental agency. But, I only waited around 35 minutes for their shuttle, and when I got to their actual location, there was no one else there, and everything went great. I rented my car very quickly. I asked the two shuttle drivers who drove me to and from the airport about the scary reviews of long lines and long waits, and they said they are from customers all piling off of (mainly) European flights all at once, some on time but some having been delayed, during the tourist season. So, many people can show up all at once wanting their rental. I guess alot of their customers are European. Since I was during the off season I had a great experience. I had intended to do a one-way rental to Sherbrooke but changed my mind and drove the car back, which again was no problem.

ca bien été, la reservation etait sans probleme. le camion a bien été. pas de surprises sur le prix. mais le camion etait vraiment degeu a l'interieur 🤢
