Great customer service, and creative ideas for our kitchen backsplash and stonework around the fireplace.

Wow...where to start with this review? Ron the owner sold us on why we should let his company do our kitchen backsplash, fireplace and bathroom backsplashes with his company. He said his installers were great and we believed him. Well, the day of the installation, he sent someone other than who he said he was going to send and this new installer was not only late but he was so ununorganized he locked his keys in his vehicle which led into more delays as he had to get help from other workmen that happened to be working in another apartmeninin my building to help him. This installer that Ron sent, instead of laying out the mosaic tile sheets in the way they were to go on the wall just started mortaring and sticking them on in whatever pattern would fit and not the pattern that the tile sheets were designed for. You should see my video of the work he did in 3 hours....yes thats all, on youtube look up "swinks4". The installer left because he had to "pick up his check" and was supposed to come back the next day but left me hanging and wasnt going to show up till i called him to tell him that whole sheets of the tile had fallen off the wall that evening. Anyway i did not let him ruin the rest of the job and Ron looked at it and said he would have to take it all down and start over again because it was unfixable as he said it. I told Ron that i didnt want them in my house again and and remove it and give me my money back. He said he would and then decided to keep $300 of my deposit sit and wont refund that portion. Worse was that i had to remove this horrible job myself because Ron wouldnt do it. Youtube.......swinks4 you will see for yourself.

Greenhome had the best price in town on cork flooring for our new condo. They were very efficient and helpful, and very knowledgeable about their products. It was also lovely to work with a company where the employees had so much enthusiasm about their business and products. We will absolutely look here in the future for sustainable renovation needs!

Excellent customer service ! I ordered a tile sample that was misdelivered by the usps. They resent the sample at no charge to me even though it wasn’t their fault. Will definitely want to purchase from them once we finally decide what we want our backsplash to look like and how much we need. Thank you Jordyn

This was our first time dealing with Tile Town and we will definitely return for any tile needs we have. They have a huge selection available and the staff that is very knowledgeable. Chevonne and Joanna were a wealth of information. The customer service was amazing and the staff was able to answer any questions we had. We highly recommend Tile Town.

While big box stores offer a large selection of materials and services for homeowners, local specialty stores like Absolutely Floored offer more industry leading products with better personal service. Value, not price wins every time for me. That being said, after checking online reviews about the “Best Flooring stores” nearby our Burnaby townhouse, my wife and I made our choice: based on numerous high ratings and excellent Better Business Bureau approval, it had to be Absolutely Floored in Coquitlam. Our sales rep Steve took time to help us in the showroom to select a highly rated stain resistant yet plush carpet for use throughout our townhouse as well as an upscale vinyl planking for our kitchen (looks like real wood with wood grain patterns/contours AND 100% waterproof!). The vinyl planking installer was very professional and courteous. He did a great job in one day that included replacing the carpet on our lower stairs from the garage to the front door. My wife says this vinyl planking stairway means footwear dirt and grime no longer get tracked as easily into the house. The carpet installers also did an excellent job over 3 days, although it took longer than expected because we literally had a guest room full of storage boxes to be moved and replaced afterwards. We highly recommend paying the additional $50/room to have the installers move furniture for you. In our case, the installers also had to hire 2 extra movers for the first day to help get the work started. It cost another $150 for 2 extra movers that day but well worth it. Remember that an installation job is only an estimated cost, subject to additional ones in time and material basis. It has been a week since all this work was done. We received favourable comments from our cleaning ladies and visitors alike: our 15-y.o. townhouse never looked so good and inviting until Absolutely Floored did their job. (Of course, our painting the walls before this carpet and flooring was done enhance the look of the home too... ). Hope this review helps to convince you as we were that the Absolutely Floored does live up to their well deserved reputation as one of the best flooring stores in the tri-city area. Creative, professional, on time, & on budget.

I had my carpet replaced by Renodiz flooring and I was very pleased with the installation and it was done in an efficient and professional manner and it looked Great.I would recommend using Renodiz flooring for any renos as they were very helpful and were very patient with me when I was deciding what flooring I was going to go with.I really appreciated that.Also their pricing was very fair.If I need any other renos done I will be sure to use them again.!!! I never had a chance last year to rate you guys, I just recommended you to extended family. Our experience was amazing! 3 stories up, me telling you flat out to go place seams for easier lifting, and you wanting us to have the best looking counters saying no, and lifting the weight. I want to think we were special, but something tells me you are extremely great with every Customer. Thank you so much again!

The installers had to come back a few times due to some issues with our stove top and kitchen plumbing. They still managed to finish the work on time despite the unforeseen circumstances. Also great quality of work overall.

I have kept brochures from Granite Transformations since 2012. I was always intrigued by their process. We finally made the decision to redo our counter tops but we did not want to replace our back splash as we still liked it very much and we have a 400 pound stove we didn't want to have to disconnect or move. So regular stone replacement was out. So I finally made that call. From my very first phone call to the company I dealt with professionals. They are smart enough to know a well informed front line receptionist is a vital key to good customer service. Our design appointment brought very knowledgable designers to our home who answered all our questions, and there were many. We still had a few logistical questions and wanted to see some of their work and so were invited to the showroom to see first hand how things would be done. While there, their installer actually came out of the shop to answer some of the site-specific questions we had and even gave us some advice on the type of faucet that would best suit our needs. (And he was right!) The next step was templating. It is an amazing and very exact process, which we were very intrigued to watch. Again, the templater who also happens to be the owner, gave us some design advice that turned out to be spot on and exactly what we wanted even though we weren't sure of it at the time. At the same time, he engineered a solution to getting the counters in without moving the stove. Unbelievably competent! The installer was then back to do the job. This guy, like all that came before him, really knows his stuff. He had some tight parameters to work with within our kitchen and he did a great job. Now I will say we had a couple of scuffs on one wall and some window trim and a small scratch on our stove, but given what he had to do and the space that we asked him to do it in, we were not surprised or worried about that. The wall took 10 minutes to fix. This is the ONLY reason that I did not give 5 stars. I think there is always room for a little improvement! But they really are a 5 star company! But from beginning to end, Granite Transformatioins is a professional, friendly, customer oriented company to deal with. Our counters look absolutely fabulous. We could not be happier. They made sure we were always on the same page all the way along, with letters explaining the next step and our obligations to be ready for them. This is a GOOD company. They really care about the customer's experience. I would not hesitate to use them again if the opportunity came up and I would not hesitate to, (and already have) sing their praises to my friends. If you are considering this work, do it! It is slick, clean, basically mess-free, and installed in one day. Couldn't be easier! We are SOOOO glad we did it. The counter tops look absolutely fabulous! And Bonus! We have a gorgeous new black stone BLANCO sink! I love my kitchen again. Thanks Granite Transformations, for a GREAT experience!
