Good service and friendly staff...decent selection of frames. But..... their "sale" prices are comparitive to their competitors non-sale prices. And the absolute worst part about this place? All their lenses are done off site, so its a 10 working day (2 week) wait to get your glasses! The other places in town make them in house, an hour wait. And when I showed up the following day to cancel my order, because I decided 2 weeks was too long to wait, nope, can't cancel. Wouldn't recommend this place

In August I paid to get an eye test done with Wainwright Eye Care. I was also charged for a pair of trial contacts which the optometrist did not help me put in. I was told to go home and put them in myself, which I had no clue how to do. When ordering my contacts I decided to instead go through Costco since it would have been a 2 hour drive from Edmonton to pick them up and they were also half the price at Costco. When I called Wainwright Eye Care to ask them to fax my prescription they refused. They told me that it wasn’t valid and Costco would not accept it. I called Costco and talked to them and they said that the vision test prescription was all they needed. So I called back wainwright eye care and they gave me excuse after excuse as to why they could not fax my prescription and continued to say that it would not be accepted by Costco. After 7 phone calls with them, I insisted that they fax the prescription and they finally did. As Costco had stated, the vision test was all they needed to order my contacts. When I got a copy of my “prescription” from wainwright eye care it ended up being sloppily written on a fax sheet with a note stating that I was provided contacts by them but never came in to follow up. They were very unprofessional and made trying to get my prescription a frustrating and difficult experience.

Taber vision is great! The doctors and staff are very understanding of patient needs they are willing to go above and beyond for their patients.

Look, it's superstore. It's pretty good but sometimes the produce leaves a little to be desired. The green beans were moldy yesterday!

Standard shopping mall for a growing city. Good selection of store but missing some of the big names. Navigating the mall can be weird as it is not a logical set up.

Went in today and had the best service. The girl working was super nice and helpful! Great experience!

Mike treats you so well, he has extensive knowledge in eye care and eye health and is a great asset to the community. For emergency situations he'll usually fit you right in ASAP.

I purchased a PD (pupil distance) measure and received a result. The number was considerably different than previously, so I doubted it - it could be wrong or it could be right. I went to two optometrists in Edmonton, and received measurements much different from Generations (but closer to each other). When I called Generations to verify the results, they said that they would not discuss them over the phone, even though they verified my identity and I had paid for the measurements. I would have to drive 50 Km to talk to them, and even then I don't know what information I would receive. What worries me is that if I had glasses made to the dimensions given by Generations, and they would be wrong, the $800 cost of the glasses would be wasted. I believe they should have been more helpful as this measurement is important. As a result, I didn't have the eye exam at Generations, and I certainly won't purchase my glasses there.
