One of the best places to live and visit.

Lovely, patient and bubbly staff work here. The facility itself is absolutely beautiful, very clean! The food looks very apetizing (compared to other facilities) but the best part of this facility is definitely the staff! glad we chose to put our mother at Wentworth Manor. Looking forward to visiting her here for years to come.

A few years ago, my aging mother (i.e. 85+) began to encounter problems in her mobility. She found that she could no longer drive a car, walk the dog, go shopping or move effortlessly throughout her apartment. However, she insisted on staying in her home. SOS (i.e. Supportive Outing Services) is a true blessing. They set it up so that one of their care givers dropped in on my mother every day to help her with the day to day chores. They walked the dog, did her shopping, took her to appointments and did some light housekeeping. This allowed my mother to stay in her apartment for a lot longer than would otherwise have been possible. The other valuable asset that the SOS team provided was knowledge about the world of seniors in Alberta. They were able to explain many of my mother’s more bewildering behaviour. They also have a good understanding of the programs and procedures that are followed by the Alberta government and medical community when it comes to senior’s assistance. We were blessed to have them there when my mother finally had to be moved to more long term care. We would recommend SOS to any family that it struggling with the challenges of supporting a senior in Alberta

The service that Chuck and his team provide is an aboslute blessing. Their team of highly skilled and certified nurses working round the clock, provide the peace of mind that your aging parents are in the right hands. The removal of that stress is invaluable. I highly recommend Home Care Assistance!

My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's about a year and a half ago. It was such a difficult diagnosis to accept in her early 60s. Qualicare has been such a positive influence in our lives during this transition. Jaime Puchalski met with my parents and hand-selected a caregiver she knew would be a good fit. I appreciate that the same caregiver arrives at my mom's house, two days a week, and it's a constant that our family has grown to depend on. Her and her caregiver have developed a relationship, she gets out of the house despite the fact she no longer drives, and they help with taking mom to appointments. I would recommend Qualicare to anyone searching for care of a loved-one. They truly are committed to supporting families, no matter what level of support they need.

Working for Calgary elder care just over a year and it’s been a blast! The adminstrative staff treats us all so well and wants the best for the clients and caregivers

This has probably been the worst experience I have ever had with a long term care facility. They do not have a chef on staff. Maybe a cook for all their processed food. My mom had dietary restrictions and they couldn't even feed her. We had to bring in food. The nurses and care staff don't care at all. She's fallen so many times, and with her most serious fall, no one even called. I showed up hours later to visit and she still had blood in her hair, and all over her clothes. The staff's lack of communication is seriously in need. None of them communicate with other departments and they don't communicate with the family. They all just pass the buck saying it's not their fault and not their problem. The nurses don't respond to alarms for at least 10 minutes; which is unacceptable with people who are a fall risk. They describe themselves as a Centre that caters to the residents, but they just don't care. No one knows anything. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Oh and you want to visit a resident? It's 5 dollars a day, during the day the parkade is always full and you can't find parking. Please don't put your loved one here. I implore you not to. It's a complete disgrace.

I am disappointed by the customer service at this store. I walked in and placed an order. Two weeks passed by and no one cared to update me on what was going on. I had to call many times to get an update. The last time I called, I was told that although the order was logged into the system, she couldn't find the box and the person (Dan) who placed the order was not around. Don't they commmunicate with each other? There was no apology offered. Had I known that this is how they would process my order, I should have ordered instead from Alba Medical in Toronto where they offer free shipping.

Both staff members clearly wanted to go home based on the snarky comment I received. Prices much higher than other stores as well made my decision very easy.
