Its a care home with very friendly staff. It looks clean and well managed.

The staff at Kopernik Lodge provide great care to my uncle Frank. They are always very warm and friendly when we go to visit, and we appreciate all they do! The facility is older, but a clean and comfortable environment for residents and visitors.

My mother was admitted to this facility in January of 2016, prior she stayed in a metro located facility after a particular nasty fall. Villa Cathay is culturally sensitive both in daily meals provided and staff interactions with her residents. It spells volumes for Chinese Canadian elders, it is like coming home. The facility also provides weekly spiritual care, exercise classes, art and craft classes and regular entertainments such as dances and karaoke facilitates by outside volunteers. My mother gained weight, became more upbeat, and is getting along nicely with her flatmates and staff. One thing about Villa Cathay staff, they care. Being the only sibling in town, it falls on my shoulder to visit mother regularly. I got the unique opportunity to observe, and I am impressed. I have no hesitation in recommend Villa Cathay to any family who is looking for a HOME for their elderly parents.

My mom used to have a homemaker from Bayshore for more than 3 years. From the staff , scheduler and the manager were pleasant to deal with and she loved to spend time with them. I will consider to rearrange the service when I reach my mom's age!

Honestly, not many people are aware that private home care is unregulated in the province of BC! Living Well has "Accreditation with Commendation" status, which means that organization is working hard to meet standards of care. When you call around , ask HOW does the organization ensure quality of care? I would strongly recommend someone like Living Well, a company that has a strong team and nursing support.

Nursing home scheduled to close soon due to property being redeveloped into condos. Was a clean place providing great care.

My Father has used the North Vancouver We Care office for several years. Through various levels of needs as his dementia has increased he has been able to stay in his apartment because of their support. The staff are fabulous, especially Paul has been so kind and patient as our needs have changed. I highly recommend them.

Retire-At-Home provided excellent support for my elderly mother while I was travelling. Fiona did a thorough in-home assessment of her needs and matched a compatible caregiver. Mom was delighted with Julia who was thoughtful, caring and hardworking, and a self-starter with any task that needed doing. Fiona sent me email progress reports while I was away.
