Not observant staff caused large frustration. My wedding ring was checked under the wrong warranty several times without my being notified by the staff. When one of my diamonds fell out I was told that I didn't have my ring checked so it wasn't under warranty. I showed the documentation I had which does not show a product name. Unfortunately the paperwork was for my earrings not my ring. Since they couldn't confirm with the staff (three different people in the last 2 years) checked my ring instead of the earrings that I had paperwork for, I would be responsible for the repairs.

If I could give this place negative Stars I would. For 3 days I tried calling and never once did they ever answer. I left messages and no call back. So instead I went over to check out if they had something I wanted in stock. That was the reasoning for the phone calls prior to my trip over to the mall which was packed full of people because of the holidays. When I got there I found a sign on the door that says I will be back in 20 minutes. When I looked at your store hours it did not say that you close for 20 minutes so that your employees can eat, you should have more people on staff especially during the holidays. I proceeded to wait about 25 minutes, much to my surprise that when the person I saw opening the door was a man that I saw walk by me 10 minutes before. Which means their employee saw me standing there waiting to pick something up and showed no regard for my time. He then walked up to the door with his food munching on it and opening the door. I was so disgusted by his treatment toward the customer (me and countless other possible customers that tried opening the door) that I walked out and did not even want to buy anything from him. I'm seriously floored at how customer service has gotten so terrible in our society. Shopping experience is no longer about the customer but about the prophet and asking consumers not people. I think I will just continue to buy things online instead of from the mall and save myself the headache and run-ins with rude people.

Gorgeous and unique selection of clothing and handbags; however, it can be quite on the pricey side. The personalities of the employees vary with each person, but so far, I've been greeted with an encouragement to purchase at Francesca's and if I don't, then they're openly bitter about it. I'm not sure if I want to ever purchase anything here with that kind of attitude.

They hard sold my daughter into getting gold instead of titanium, which caused an allergic reaction. The woman doing the piercing was new and I didn't find out until it was done. Their cleaning solutions were bad and I had to switch to commercial.

I like the ethical approach and use of recycled metals and carefully sourced stones. However, everything else about the process of buying and the product was disappointing. Tamara's communication was, generously, unkind, and made me feel rushed in selecting a stone. it took a few short emails of my questions and her answers before she told me she has other customers waiting and I needed to make a decision. The ring style with the wrap-around setting also allows no light into the stone, and really mutes the colors of the stone. The setting is also imperfect and is not set on the ring precisely, which is unfortunate. My biggest disappointment, though, is that the pictures of the stones she used had some sort of filter, so the color of the actual stone was *dramatically* different from what was pictured on the website. I knew I was taking some risk by having a ring custom made without seeing a sample or the stone in person, but needless to say, I was tremendously disappointed with this experience. The stone is pretty, even if it differs greatly from the photos, and I may re-use it in another piece, but I won't be patronizing McFarland Designs again. Such a shame, because it's very hard to find ethical jewelry.
